作文一参考范文:
Dear all international exchange students from the UK,
With the Spring Festival approaching, I’ve tailored an “Ancient City Stroll” activity to help
you experience the blend of Chinese history and modern fun. I’m writing to extend my sincere
invitation to all of you.
This activity is designed to integrate time-honored history with dynamic, modern experiences.
It will kick off with a thrilling VR “time travel” session right at the ancient city gate, where we’ll be
transported back to its glorious time, witnessing its past prosperity. After that, we’ll wander through
the old alleys, popping into iconic cultural check-in spots and treating ourselves to mouthwatering
local snacks. The schedule is arranged to be flexible. We can slow down to linger over a particular
spot or skip uninteresting activities, all to fully immerse ourselves in the festive atmosphere.
This is such a fantastic opportunity to experience Chinese culture in a fresh, engaging way, and
I truly hope you can join me. If you’re interested, please don’t hesitate to e-mail me at
lihua-2026@ by 10:00 PM, February 5th. Looking forward to your reply.
Best regards,
Li Hua
作文二参考范文:
Ms. Davis approached me with the painting pieces. She praised its vivid colors, sincere
emotions and my dedication. Head lowered, I shared my frustration: my parents dismissed my
painting as useless. She took my hand and told me she’d faced similar parental opposition in youth
but persisted secretly, proving art’s value. She proposed repairing the painting together and talking
to my parents. With her help, we glued the pieces and she added details to hide cracks. That
weekend, she visited my parents, showed my painting and explained painting relieved my stress and
boosted creativity. Surprisingly, my parents agreed I could continue painting if it didn’t affect
studies.
A month later, my cherry blossom alley painting was framed at the art exhibition. There a card
read, “Art comes from the heart — never give up on your passion.” I thanked Ms. Davis, who
credited my perseverance. Many admired the painting. My parents came, looked proud, and my
mother apologized. Filled with joy, I realized good teachers protect dreams. Empowered by Ms.
Davis’s support, I found the confidence to chase my dream while keeping up with my studies. I still
paint in my spare time, and the repaired painting always reminds me of her encouragement.

Text 1
M: Let’s go and explore Chinese dumplings. They are nutritious with a wide variety of fillings.
W: Okay, but I’m watching my waistline. Dumplings are fattening, so I’ll just have a bite of each.
Text 2
W: I know we’re supposed to meet at 5 p.m. in the library, but something came up unexpectedly.
Would you mind postponing our meeting by an hour
M: Not at all. My schedule is very flexible after the 4 p.m. class.
Text 3
W: Did Pat come with you guys last night
M: Actually, he didn’t as he had seen the movie before.
W: So he just stayed at home, then
M: No, he went to a concert instead.
Text 4
M: We are out of business cards and we have some new employees beginning soon. I suggest we
have business cards ready when they arrive.
W: Good idea. Can you please send me the order form so I can double-check it
Text 5
M: Tickets are available for the 5th in the back and the 7th in the first row.
W: Awesome! I’ll choose the latter.
M: It’s just that the lead actor’s different on the 7th.
W: Oh, we’d better forget that day!
Text 6
M: Mrs. Boyle, I need to take some time off from work. I really need to see the dentist on
Wednesday or Thursday.
W: That’s fine, Ted. By the way, the management just released a notice that, instead of using your
vacation time, you can come in early or stay late.
M: Oh, that’s great. I’ve been trying to save my vacation time for a big trip that I plan to take after
this project is over in the following month.
W: Oh, that’ll be perfect for you then. Just make sure you tell your manager in advance about it.
Text 7
W: Oh, hi, Keith. I notice you haven’t been coming to my cycling class lately. Is there something
wrong
M: Hi, Jane. My work schedule changed so now I exercise in the evenings instead of the mornings.
But I do miss your class. Do you offer personal training I’d love to have you lead just me
through a tailored cycling routine once a week or so.
W: I’d be happy to do that. Great. How about on Thursdays That could work. Could you wait a
moment while I go to my desk to review my calendar
M: Sure. I’ll be lifting weights over here for a while.
Text 8
W: Next please! Hello sir, may I see your passport please
M: Yes, here you go.
W: Will you be checking any bags
M: Yes, I’d like to check three pieces.
W: I’m sorry, sir. Airline policy allows only two pieces of checked luggage, at twenty kilograms
each, plus one piece of carry-on luggage. I will have to charge you for the additional suitcase.
高三英语 参考答案 第2页(共 3页)
M: What Why I am taking an intercontinental flight! I’m flying sixteen thousand kms! How am I
supposed to only take two twenty-kilo bags
W: I am sorry, sir, there’s nothing I can do. You cannot board the flight with that large bag either.
Carry-on bags must fit in the overhead shelf or under your seat. That bag is clearly too big.
M: Now I see. You charge next to nothing for an international ticket, but when it comes to charging
for any other small things, you charge an arm and a leg!
Text 9
M: With me today is Jessica Tait, one of Canada’s most popular travel writers. Jessica, what’s the
biggest challenge for you in the writing process
W: Well, I used to be a very slow writer. I had to think about each word very carefully. I’m much
better now but writing with tight deadlines can be a huge challenge for me. That’s mainly
because I hate hurrying. I want to really explore the essence of a new place.
M: Have you ever done other work
W: Before I started travel writing, I worked briefly in publicity for various new products. I once
gave out free make-up on the streets of Montreal.
M: Do you have any tips for those dreaming of becoming a travel writer like you
W: Well, you need to take a fresh point of view on an old subject. Many of the places you’ll write
about have been done before, so you need to find something new that’ll grab your readers’
attention.
M: Finally, Jessica, what do you see for yourself in the future
W: Well, I’ve been offered TV work, but it doesn’t attract me. I guess I can’t see myself ever stop
being on the move. I’m sure the appeal of the unknown will always be there for me even when
I’m no longer able to make travel my business.
Text 10
M: OK, here are the details of our competition to find the best amateur chef in the region. To enter,
you have to send in a main course and dessert recipe with ingredients that cost less than 10 per
person. From the recipes sent in, the committee consisting of 8 judges will draw up a shortlist of
15 participants. They’ll be asked to come along to Pandoras Restaurant and cook their recipes for
the panel of judges and paying customers, with the assistance of the restaurant’s chef. The judges
will then choose three people to go forward to the final. The final three will be asked to create a
three-course recipe and cook it at the restaurant. The judges will then choose the winner. The
winner will have the chance to participate in a masterclass with a well-known chef. And an
interview will be showcased in a popular cooking magazine. The other two will also receive a
certificate of achievement. Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to show your skills.
