学生已有的知识储备:
1.?学生对部分的交通方式表达比较熟悉,比如by?bike,?by?bus,?by?car,? by?train,?ride?a?bike,?walk。学生对take的用法,“How?long...??How?far...?操练比较熟练。
2.?本节课主要通过图片视频等方式让学生掌握基本的阅读技能与写作技能。?单纯的讲解知识点比较死板,在教学过程中利用图片讲解重要短语和句式。课文内容利用问题推进,层层展开,利用思维导图总结,形成知识结构;在阅读过程中,进行阅读策略的指导。写作前设计问题讨论,可降低难度,让学生有话可说,有内容可说,并对作文体裁及写作技巧进行点拨。复述课文对于学生来说有一定的难度,因此分三部分进行复述,利用思维导图,清晰明了,降低难度,可锻炼学生的语言组织能力。
3.农村学生与城市学生在英语学习中存在很严重的差距,而且这种差距在进入初中阶段后越来越大。由于学生学习成绩基础不是很理想,所以目前很难在短时间内提高他们的英语学习能力,语言的表达能力欠加。由于没有养成好的学习习惯,所以学生学习缺少热情。   
4.通过观察了解,发现大部分学生的学习目的性明确。学习积极性高,能主动的学习,有70%的同学有上进心,但主动性不够,需要老师的引导,但也有10%左右的学生学习目的不明确,一天贪玩好耍,不能积极主动的完成学业,甚至不能完成老师布置的作业。

上完《How do you get to school?Section B》这一课,有几分欣喜也有几分遗憾。
欣喜的是课前设定的预期目标基本上实现了:1、从知识和能力角度看,通过本课学习,学生基本上掌握了本文的相关单词、主要动词及主要句型的用法、了解了课文情节,积累了词汇,能根据思维导图,复述课文大意,;2、从学习过程和学习方法上看,学生通过小组间合作学习,基本上掌握了基本的阅读及写作技能与方法;3、从情感态度价值观看:学生感受到了贫困山区生活的艰苦,应珍惜现在的生活发奋图强,感受到人与人之间真情美。学生了解到了因地域和文化差异而造成了交通方式的差异。
遗憾的是,课堂教学中有些地方处理还是不够精细,这方面要加强锻炼。

在英语教学和学习中,阅读一直占据着相当重要的地位。阅读不仅能帮助学生获取信息、开阔视野、丰富语言文化知识,还能促进听、说、写等其他语言能力积极地发展;而且,阅读在培养学生的思维能力、分析能力和理解能力等方面有着不可替代的作用。那么我们教师怎样上好阅读课呢?我觉得需要开展多彩活动,培养学生的阅读兴趣。
兴趣是学习最好的老师,枯燥的练习和单调的训练将磨灭孩子们的阅读兴趣。在拟定教学设计之初,我就确定要把任务型教学活动渗透到阅读练习中。在Pre-Reading环节中,我通过图片视频让孩子了解山区孩子上学的方式,复习语言知识,导入阅读课题。在主读的训练中,通过提出几个有效问题,让学生读文章找答案,构建思维导图,层层展开。最后,我让孩子们复述课文,培养他们的语言运用能力和创造力,顺利完成阅读后的输出,为后面的写作打好基础,让学生有话可写,有话想说。丰富多彩、形式多样的活动,吸引学生主动、积极地参与阅读中,使学生对篇章的结构、内容及融合的知识点有了较好的掌握后,再引导学生进行整体吸收和运用,引导学生利用篇章所提供的信息进行交际活动。课堂上,学生能乐在其中,在活动中灵活地运用所学语言,实现知识的正迁移作用。
斟酌阅读材料,加强信息输入。发展学生英语阅读能力,重要的条件是要有合适的阅读材料。
采用小组合作,共同学习提高。课堂上小组共同阅读,合作学习,使学生在平等、协作、交流、讨论中,都有发言的机会、表现的机会、成功的机会。阅读活动中,小组内先读,先练说,学生能选择一个水平适当的角色参与交流和探讨,在学习活动中互相帮助,共同提高,知识和情感都得到发展。小组竞赛更能激发全体学生产生健康、积极向上的心理,更能保持和提高学生学习英语的兴趣,对提高阅读和交际能力起着积极的推动作用。
当然,我在本节阅读教学课中,也有许多值得改进之处。如教师的导语不够清晰明确,导致学生在活动开始会出现片刻地茫然。没有为学生的英语思维及时引导。这些也是一个教师的课堂教学基本功,我还需要不断的学习和提升,提炼自己的语言,为学生英语思维和语言的发展把好脉搏。

本单元是新目标英语七年级下册第三单元,教材以How do you get to school?为中心话题,围绕“traffic way”展开。主要是在学习和运用某种交通工具去某地表达法的基础上,运用How long /How far询问如何到达某地,描述“去某地的交通方式、时间、距离”。其教学内容与学生的实际生活密切相关,易于引发学生运用简单的英语进行交际和交流,这对于提高学生的综合能力,特别是说的能力很有帮助。
一、知识目标:
单词:学习掌握词汇Bicycle, subway ,car, bus, train ,bus stop ,train station ,bus station ,subway station ,ride ,walk ,minutes ,kilometers ,miles north North America , part , thing, other, depend on ,by boat, more ,means等。
二、语言功能:
学会谈论、描述交通方式、距离及时速的表达。
三、语言结构:
(一)How引导的特殊疑问句、肯定句与否定句句型:
How do you get to school? I take the bus.
How long does it take? It takes 20 minutes. (It takes sb. some time to do sth. )
How far is it? It’s 10 miles.
(二)要求学生掌握好助动词do在不同人称特别是第三人称单数后的变化。

本单元以交通为话题、以谈论出行方式为功能,以紧扣话题的5个对话(3长2短;见教材后附录本单元听力录音材料)、1个短语篇为载体,在具体语境中呈现了How、 How far、How long 引导的特殊疑问句及回答,谈论如何到达目的地、行程多久及距离多远。本单元包括33个课标词和9个常用短语和固定搭配。通过模仿对话、自编对话、阅读,学生将掌握不同交通方式的英语表达,了解不同地区的学生是采用何种交通方式去学校的,并能根据自己实际情况,合理安排行程,合理选用交通工具。
语言技能方面:通过听录音,运用抓关键词的听力学习策略获取有效信息。通过观看PPT呈现的图片及题目预测文章的大意。将使用的交通工具、距离、花费的时间融于how引导的特殊疑问句及相关回答中,并运用所学与同伴就上学、外出旅游、走亲访友的话题进行口头交流;能运用所学写一篇介绍自己平时上学所选用交通方式的短文(50词左右)。
