The secret to a successful sequel (续集)—a secret
Keeping the entire cast and crew of film a secret is hard. But when it’s a massive movie like Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, with some 700 people and 1,000 costurnes—including 400 coats alone—it’s next to 25 . All precautions are taken: characters are given code names, the smallest details are protected by nondisclosure agreements, and digital scripts are encoded and deleted after a certain amount of time in case of being copied and spread. It’s not quite magic, but it’s close.
The pressure to not reveal anything—even 26 —is enough to give Eddic Redmayne a difficult time. “I’ve been sent this funny document which is furnished with double-caps, triple-underlined notes saying, YOU CAN’T TALK ABOUT THIS,” says the Oscar winner, who returns as wizard Newt Scamander in the sequel, which continues the story of the earlier reputation. Does he ever tell anyone He leans in and admits, a little 27 , that he does: his wife, Hannah Bagshawe.
How have they successfully kept it a secret It certainly helps that J. K. Rowling, the writer of the work, is the 28 of keeping secrets. She famously claims to have known crucial plot points from her best-selling book series’ endgame years in advance. Also, Johnny Depp’s debatable appearance in the movie—the actor has been accused of domestic violence by his ex-wife Amber Heard—as the dark wizard Grindelwald was kept under wraps until just two weeks before the first film came out in 2016.
Bearing this commitment to secrecy in mind, it’s no surprise that Rowling has revcaled the details to few people about how the remaining three movies in the proposed five-part series will playout. Even producer Tim Lewis, who has worked on eight Harry Potter installments, is 29 . “We haven’t seen scripts for the next one,” says. “I am assuming Rowling knows the whole plan, but I couldn’t say.”
The earnings are high enough: the first Fantastic Beasts movie reached $814 million. That’s a number most studios would dream about, but when it comes to Harry Potter, expectations start sky-high. In a world filled with universes based on existing intellectual property-Star Wars, Marvel-appreciation fatigue is always possible. But for now, the extreme enthusiasm shows no sign of 30 : Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, a play based on an idea by Rowling, is a critical and commercial smash. For the Beasts sequel, analysts are already predicting an opening weekend of $65 million to $75 million.

What happens when you mix fiction (based on the imagination) and science (based on 61 ) The result is “Science fiction”. Science-based books and movies often take place in the future.Writers imagine what life will be many years from now. In science fiction, there is life on other 62 , competing with aliens and monsters. People travel in spaceships, and there is lots of advanced technology around.
Science fiction has many types of plots (情节), characters, and settings. Some of the first science fiction stories were about 63 aliens who try to take over the Earth and bring down the human race. Others were about people travelling in spaceships looking for 64 planets or keeping peace in the universe. The “science” was not very believable.

Art in a cup
At a café, a staff carefully pours milk into a cup of coffee. With a few quick movements to mix and stir, a picture slowly appears on the smooth brown 67 . People come closer, take photos and enjoy the little artwork in the cup.
Today, many people enjoy such beautiful pictures made on top of coffee. But did you know that making art in tea cups began much 68 In fact, it started in China centuries ago as a traditional practice called Dian Cha (点茶). Rise of the culture
Tea culture began to grow in the Tang Dynasty (618-907). In the Song Dynasty (960-1279), tea was part of the life for almost everyone. A famous poet, Wang Anshi, even said that tea was as important as rice, oil, and salt. Dian Cha was invented and developed during this period. Later, this practice 69 to other parts of East Asia including Japan. Dancing water and powdered (研成粉末的) leaves
The work is not simple. First, hot water was poured over fine powdered tea to make a paste (茶糊). Then, more hot water was added slowly. At the same time, the tea was beaten quickly with a bamboo stick. 70 , the water and tea mixed together, creating a fine foam (泡沫) on the top. Then the maker can draw pictures on the top. The process takes about ten minutes, and the tea should be around 40℃ when ready to drink.
The key is 71 and strength. Usually, one needs to beat the tea between 180 and 200 times before the foam appears. It is careful work but must be done quickly, or the foam will clear away. Dian Cha: A moment’s art, a 72 message
It often takes a year of practice to learn the skill. However, the beautiful designs do not remain forever. They usually vanish within an hour. Still, Dian Cha shows the wisdom of Chinese tea culture. Today, even though our ways of drinking tea have changed, the spirit of Dian Cha lives on. Its values and traditions can still influence generation after generation.

I stood nervously outside the music room. Being 79 since birth, I thought music wasn’t for me. The new teacher, Mr. Dawson, noticed me by the door. “Come in,” he mouthed warmly, his hands moving in gentle sign (手势) language.
He rolled a big drum in front of me and placed my hands on it. “Feel its 80 ,” he said. Boom-boom! The drum’s movement surprised me—it felt like raindrops on my skin!

On the big night, stage lights burned my face. The band members held their instruments 82 . I closed my eyes and felt the drum’s first beat through the floor. When I raised my hands, everyone started playing together perfectly!
During the happy song, I waved my hands fast. When the music turned soft, I moved them slowly like swimming fish. The final note shook the floor so 83 that I almost lost balance (平衡)! The music’s energy (能量) filled the room and the concert was a huge success.
After the show, a boy with a leg cast (石膏) wheeled over. “You made me forget I can’t dance,” he said with excitement. Mr. Dawson smiled like a proud parent.
