辅音连缀
(一)辅音连缀的含义
辅音连缀是指两个或两个以上的辅音音素结合在一起的一种语音
现象。元音前,连缀的辅音不超过3个;元音后,连缀的辅音不超
过4个。
(二)辅音连缀的发音规律和技巧
1. 发音时第一个辅音的发音要轻而短,第二个辅音的发音要重而长,
注意力要集中在第二个辅音的发音上,两个音连接紧密,不要在两个
辅音之间加元音。
/sm/:small、 smell、 smart
/sn/:snow、 snore、 sneeze
/sl/:sleep、 sly、 slow、 slang
/sw/:sweater、 swing、 sweet、 swan
2. 发第一个辅音的同时必须为发第二个辅音做好准备,两个音几乎同
时发音。
/tr/:try、 tree、 train
/dr/:dream、 draw、 dragon
/pl/:play、 please、 plane
/pr/:press、 pray、 prince
/kl/:clean、 clever、 class
/kr/:cry、 cream、 crayon
(三)词尾辅音连缀需遵守“清清浊浊”的发音规则
1. 以清辅音结尾的名词加“s”变为复数形式及动词加“s”变为第三
人称单数形式时,词尾应读作清辅音/s/。
名词:caps、 chips、 shops、 thanks、 bikes、 lakes等
动词:looks、 asks、 jumps等
2. 以浊辅音结尾的名词加“s”变为复数形式及动词加“s”变为第三
人称单数形式时,词尾应读作浊辅音/z/。
名词:labs、 clubs、 pigs、 girls、 teams、 jeans、 chickens、
games、 clothes等
动词:begs、 leaves、 describes、 calls、 comes、 happens等
3. 以清辅音/t/或浊辅音/d/结尾的名词加“s”变为复数形式或动词加
“s”变为第三人称单数形式时,词尾应分别读作/ts/或/dz/。
名词:jackets、 shirts、 friends、 kinds等
动词:writes、 lets、 spends、 reads等
4. 动词过去式的词尾构成的辅音连缀。
(1)规则动词的过去式的词尾也需遵守“清清浊浊”的发音规则,
分别读作/t/或/d/;
(2)以清辅音结尾的动词词尾+-ed读作清辅音/t/,如asked、
helped、 stopped、 missed、 washed、 touched等;
(3)以浊辅音结尾的动词词尾+-ed读作浊辅音/d/,如robbed、
begged、 called、 smiled、 moved、 breathed、 raised、 harmed、
learned等。
