Helping with Housework
Hello! I'm Ben. I'm in Grade Four. I live with my parents and my little sister in a nice house. I think it's important to help my parents do housework.
At weekends, I have many things to do. On Saturday morning, I clean my room.I put my toys in the box and put my books on the shelf. Then I sweep the floor. It's not very difficult, but it makes my room tidy.
After that, I help my mum in the kitchen. I wash the vegetables for lunch.Sometimes I make sandwiches for my sister. My little sister can't do much, but she can put the forks and spoons on the table.
In the afternoon, my dad and I clean the car. First, we use water to make the car wet. Then we use a sponge to clean it. Finally, we dry the car with a towel. It's fun to work with my dad.
Doing housework makes me feel happy. I like to help my family!
