Read the first given sentence, what questions will you ask yourself?
①What did the writer/the characters do?(作者/人物做了什么?)
②How did the writer/the characters feel?(作者/人物会有什么样的感受?)
③What was the result?(这件事的结果如何?)
④How will the story develop?(后续故事会如何发展?)
Read the second given sentence, what questions will you ask yourself?
①How should Paragraph 1 be ended reasonably?(第一段应该如何合理地结束?)
②What would the writer/the characters do?(作者/人物会怎么做?)
③How did the writer/the characters feel?(作者/人物会有什么样的感受?)
④How should Paragraph 2 be ended reasonably?(第二段应该如何合理地结束?)
⑤What's the writer's opinion of the thing?(作者对这件事有何看法?)
当学生在平时训练中熟悉这些通用的问题链,并能够结合具体语篇情节选取适用的设问方式,那么在考场中便能运用这些问题链构架出具体的故事情节。
[经典范例]
(2022·新高考Ⅰ卷)It was the day of the big cross-country run.Students from seven different primary schools in and around the small town were warming up and walking the route(路线) through thick evergreen forest.
I looked around and finally spotted David, who was standing by himself off to the side by a fence. He was small for ten years old.His usual big toothy smile was absent today.I walked over and asked him why he wasn't with the other children. He hesitated and then said he had decided not to run.
What was wrong? He had worked so hard for this event!
I quickly searched the crowd for the school's coach and asked him what had happened.“I was afraid that kids from other schools would laugh at him,”he explained uncomfortably.“I gave him the choice to run or not,and let him decide.”
I bit back my frustration (懊恼).I knew the coach meant well—he thought he was doing the right thing. After making sure that David could run if he wanted,I turned to find him coming towards me,his small body rocking from side to side as he swung his feet forward.
David had a brain disease which prevented him from walking or running like other children, but at school his classmates thought of him as a regular kid.He always participated to the best of his ability in whatever they were doing. That was why none of the children thought it unusual that David had decided to join the cross-country team.It just took him longer—that's all.David had not missed a single practice, and although he always finished his run long after the other children,he did always finish. As a special education teacher at the school,I was familiar with the challenges David faced and was proud of his strong determination.

[范文赏读]
We sat down next to each other, but David wouldn't look at me.David looked upset. His eyes were swollen,as if he'd been crying all day.Seeing this,I went over and gave him a gentle hug.“David,I understand your dilemma but I am still proud of your persistence while you didn't miss a single practice for this event.I'm sure your efforts won't be in vain.”I said in a soft voice. After hearing my words,David took a deep breath, slowly turned his head and gave me a determined look.
I watched as David moved up to the starting line with the other runners. When the game gun rang out,all the competitors rushed out of the starting line. With David's small body rocking from side to side,he swung his feet forward slowly but surely.Gripped the sight of David running hard, the spectators cheered him on.When he hit the final line, many teachers and students present welcomed him with open arms.David cheered with the crowd and the pre-game frustration was completely gone from his face.Watching his happy face,I was proud of the boy with grim determination and his inspiring behavior.
[针对训练]
阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。
Grandfather was a wise and honorable man.His house was not far from ours, and I would visit him often going home after school.
No matter how rotten I had been,I could tell Grandpa anything. My secrets were safe.Whenever there was a problem,he gave me the tools to fix it.I knew I would always find the best answer from him.He always understood. He loved me.
I remember a time when a bunch of us were playing baseball in the field behind Mrs.Ferguson's house.I hit one pitch just right and slam! It was a home run that soared high and away, and ended up breaking old lady Ferguson's kitchen window!
I was afraid that Mrs.Ferguson would stay mad at me,so I ran.I didn't know what she would do.I tried to calm down. However,my stomach was in knots. On the way home.I imagined that she was a mean witch (女巫) chasing me,and the further I ran,the larger she grew...until finally she towered over the whole town, seeing my every move with an evil eye.Thoughts rushed through my mind.Would Mrs.Ferguson be mad at me Would she call police Worse still, would she tell my parents?I couldn't even imagine the disappointment on my parents' faces. They were always hoping I would act honestly and in a responsible way.
I decided to stop by Grandpa's.I felt ashamed.I wanted to hide.I wanted to knock my head against a tree a thousand times and make the world just go away —as if punishing myself could undo things.
“I would tell everything to Grandpa,” a voice inside me said.
“I was wrong,” I told him, with my head down.He must have known something was up by the expression on my face.He knew we had been warned many times about the dangers of playing where we shouldn't.

But he just listened while I continued talking.“I was wrong.I hate myself for what I did,”I told him, with my head down.I didn't know what to do to make things right.I had been afraid that Mrs.Ferguson would be mad at me.Finally my grandpa said,“What would you do if you were her?”After a while,I replied,“One solution is to tell her that I am sorry and offer to fix her window.”
Grandpa smiled when he knew I had figured it out.“Doing what is right is not always easy,” he said, handing me the phone,“I am proud of you.” He did not make me do it.It was always my choice. As it turned out,Mrs.Ferguson was very kind and we even became really close friends.“Admitting what you are not proud of is the hardest thing,” said Grandpa.“Choosing to be honest makes others trust and respect you.”
