本册教材是外研社版新标准英语(一年级起点)五年级上册。本课内容是第八模块第一单元Children

tables.话题是描述学校之间的差异。语言知识是运用已学的一般现在时描述学校生活
。
学生没有接触到外国学校,对学习内容有一定的兴趣。但是本课语句较多,对学生的模仿说是一个考验。一般现在时比较简单,相信学生能学会本课的语言。
本节课的话题能让学生更多地了解英国及其他国家学校方面的知识,并能在教师的引导下比较中外学校的异同。在活动中,能树立正确的跨文化意识并能形成独立思考、自主学习、创新思维的能力。
