English lecture:
Requirements
1). To the speaker: confidently; without paper; express yourself clear in pronunciation and intonation
2). To the audience: listen carefully and try your best to understand the speaker.
II: During class activities:
Step I: Lead in
1. Learning Aims
1). Know about the geography of Peru and the tours mentioned in the text.
2). Build up international consciousness and promote national pride.
Questions about Peru
1). Which continent is Peru in? South America
2). Which country once conquered Peru? Spain
3). Which mountains are in Peru? Andes Mountains
4). Which city is the capital of Peru? Lima

Step II: Listening
★ Imitate the pronunciation & intonation(语调)
★ Mark your problems => discuss!
Step III: Reading
1. Read the text to know the 4 tours clearly.
2. Answer the 2 questions and finish Task 1. Share your answers on the blackboard.
1). Why is Cuzco popular with tourists?
2). What kind of people would enjoy Tour 2?
If you have any problem in answering the questions or understanding the passage, you can just stand up to have a heated discussion. You can turn to anyone in out classroom to ask for help.
After the discussion, one volunteer go to blackboard to make a comment.
Step IV: Speak up
Be brave to express yourself and show your ideas. You can choose any form you like, for example, you can make a phone call a dialogue a short play a letter......
Activity one: Imagine your group operate a travel agency in Peru. Choose one tour to introduce it to your guests.
Students: 3 minutes preparation to describe the tour
Teacher: Show the pictures of the four tours on the screen to help the students.
Activity two: We have much more places of interest in China. Introduce them to your guests.
Teacher: Show some pictures of beautiful places of interest in China. Students can choose one from them or they can choose other places they like to introduce.
Students: 5 minutes discussion and preparation for the following show.
Step V: Writing
Write a short passage or an advertisement for the place you introduced just now.
A diary from teacher:
The Palace Museum is one of the most great places of interest in China. It used to be called the Fobbiden City. It has a splendid history since Ming Dynasty, and then rebuilt and repaired many times. Pass through the Front Gate, a lots of palaces appeared. There are almost 8700 rooms in the Palace Museum. The rooms are used for different purpose. The emperor could not leave the city as he could do everything in it including work, study, sleep or even travel around. I could not remember all the names of the buildings but I took hundreds of beautiful photos on the way. I think I'll not forget the amazing trip I had in Beijing and I hope I can come here next time with my best friends.

III: After class homework:
Finish writing the passage of introducing famous Chinese places. Hand the passage in.
Try to describe the tours of traveling in Peru to your friends.
