Unit 7 Be a Better Learner!
Lesson 1 Listening & Speaking
I. Material analysis
本部分为听说活动，学生通过学习与学习活动相关的词汇和短语开启单元话题。第一步, 学生通过完成图文匹配活动学习有关学习活 动的表达，并运用所学词汇和短语描述学习经历。第二步，学生以听、读、说结合的方式依照示例进行情境对话替换， 培养词汇运用和情境交际能力。第三步，学生听两个紧扣单元学习主题的独白，并完成表格填写的学习任务。听力训练活动既帮助学生运用所学词汇开展语言实践活动，也为后面的迁移创新活动积累语言知识。第四步， 学生两人一组就听力内容进行讨论，达成迁移创新。本部分共有３个活动。
II. Teaching aims
通过本课的学习，学生能够：
通过图片获取梳理不同的学习活动；
完成图文配对，能根据图文谈论学习活动；
能在真实的语境中，谈论、交流学习经历，形成积极的学习态度。
III. Teaching procedures
课时教学内容概述
本课时为听说活动，以单元主题词汇学习为引领开展听说活动，帮助学生打开话题。Activity 1为词汇学习，分为A、B和C三个部分。A部分要求学生通过完成图文匹配活动来学习有关学习活动的词汇。B部分要求学生结合所给句子提示，运用所学词汇进行填空。C部分要求学生以听、读、说相结合的方式依照示例进行情境替换对话，培养学生的词汇运用和情景交际能力。Activity 2为听力训练活动。学生听一段紧扣单元主题的音频，完成独白内容填写的学习任务。听力活动起着承上启下的作用，一方面帮助学生运用所学词汇开展语言实践活动，另一方面帮助学生为Activity3积累语言。Activity 3为自由讨论的迁移创新类活动。学生将所学知识运用到一个新的主题相关的情境中，进行迁移创新类活动。

Step 2 Viewing & Pre-listening Match the activities (a-f) with the pictures on page 1 in Activity 1A, and check the answers.Read the sentences in Activity 1B and complete the sentences with the correct form of verbs on page 1Check the answers in Activity 1B.Read the sentences together and pay attention to the expressions of learning activities. 根据学生对活动图片的匹配和填空情况，评价其读图能力和词汇理解能力。观察学生朗读情况，判断学生的语音语调是否正确及能否正确使用所学词汇来描述学习。
设计意图: 学生看图学习单元主题词汇，运用所学词汇描述主题情境，培养词汇运用能力。
Step 3Listening & Speaking Listen and repeat the conversation in Activity 1C. 2. Work in pairs. Replace the parts in bold and practice the conversation in Activity 1C with the partner.3. Some students share their conversations in class.4. Look at the monologs in Activity 2, predict the main idea of them.5. Listen and complete the monologs.6. Check the answers.7. Read the monologs. 观察学生朗读和模仿表达是否正确，根据学生两两对话中的表现，评价其在真实语境中信息置换的能力，把握学生内化所学语言的情况。根据学生对独白中学习经历的获取情况和填空完成情况，判断学生在听力训练活动中提取关键信息的能力。
