写作第一节(满分 15 分)
One possible version:
Dear Peter, I'm delighted to hear about your plan to study as an exchange student in China
next spring! In my view, both options have their merits. Living with a host family lets you
immerse yourself in Chinese culture, practice daily Mandarin, and enjoy home-cooked meals.
School dormitories offer more freedom, help foster friendships with peers, and make campus
life more convenient.
I'd recommend a host family. As a newcomer, their guidance will help you adapt faster to
local life--they can show you around, explain customs, and support you when you face
difficulties. This immersive experience will deepen your understanding of China, which is

Yours, Li Hua

and shaking, couldn't get the stuck door open. Bell pushed hard against it with his shoulder
until it cracked open. He grabbed the man's arm and pulled him out just as a window broke
into pieces. He dragged the trembling driver to safety and patted out small fires on his clothes.
His heart thundered, but his hands stayed steady-instinct taking over, just like that day on the
lake.
A week later, the rescued driver together with reporters came to Bell's house. Holding a bunch
of flowers, the man said gratefully,“You gave me my second chance at life.” Cameras
clicked, but Bell just smiled awkwardly. “I just did what everyone will do at that moment,"
he said. The driver shook his head:“Not everyone would rush into danger."

bought are good enough.

from
W: Chengdu. But my parents work in Chongqing.
M: I've never been to Chengdu. I travelled to Chongqing specially for its hotpot last year.
W: Cool, that's a mountain city. And if you visit my hometown, I will show you around.
M: Thanks. Oh, the professor's here. Let's talk after class .
Text 7
W: Hello, Gino's Restaurant.
M: Hi, this is Jamie. I booked a table for Saturday evening and I am wondering if I can
make a few changes.
W: Certainly. What would you like to change
M: First, I need the booking for six people instead of four.
W: Let me check... Yes, I can move you to a larger table, though it's closer to the kitchen.
M: That's fine. Could we also make it a bit later
W: Let me see. Your original reservation was at 6:30. I'm afraid your table would not be
available in half an hour. We could see you at 7:00 or 7:30.
M: Well, the former is better. Thanks for your help.
W: OK, you're welcome. We'll see you tomorrow evening.
Text 8
W: Good morning. Can I help you
M: Yes... I hope so. My wife asked me to come. I've had a sore throat for two days, and I
keep coughing. It hurts when I speak.
W: I see. Do you also have a headache or a fever
M: No, just the throat. I couldn't sleep well last night because of the coughing.
W: In that case, you can try these throat drops. They cost a bit more but act quickly. We
also have this cold medicine, which helps with coughing.
M: Which one should I take
W: They're both fine, but the drops taste bitter. You'd better take them before going to
bed, because coughing gets worse at night. But remember not to eat or drink for a while after
using them.
M: All right. I'll take the drops. Thanks for your help.
英语试题答案 第 7 页 (共 8 页)
W: You're welcome.
Text 9
W:Mark, you look tired today. Didn’t you sleep well
M:Not really. I was answering work emails at home till midnight while my wife was
taking care of the children. I will attend a business conference next week. These days I
can hardly switch off my phone.
W: I know what you mean. My company suggests we should keep an eye on work
messages even on weekends. Do you think work used to be different
M: Definitely. My father worked a regular nine-to-five job. Once he left the office, he
didn’t check anything. During holidays, no one contacted him.
W: That sounds nice. People must have had more time for hobbies or family activities.
M: Exactly. But things have changed with the development of new technology. Now we
can work anywhere, which makes evenings and weekends less relaxing.
W: True, but it also brings some flexibility. If I leave early to pick up my child, I can
finish tasks later at home.
M: Same here. I sometimes work from a café. It's not perfect, but at least I can manage
my schedule.
W: So you're saying work and life are mixed now, but workers also gain more freedom in
return.
M: Yes. The challenge is learning how to keep a healthy balance.
Text 10
M: Good evening, everyone. Today I'd like to share a weekend event that has become
popular in my town. It started as a simple idea. I noticed that many small streets were quiet,
and neighbors hardly talked to one another. So I asked a few friends to help paint short
messages on wooden boards. Each board showed something about the street-a tree that had
stood there for fifty years, a shop that opened in the 1960s, or a family that had lived there for
generations. At first, only a few boards were placed along one block. But people who walked
by began to stop and read them. Some even brought photos from their homes and added more
stories. Within months, the event spread to six blocks. Local cafes put chairs outside, and
children set up small drawing tables on the sidewalk. The whole neighborhood became lively.
I'm proud of how the project has grown. It shows that a simple idea, with community help,
can bring new life to a place.
