1、Analysis of the teaching material
外研版九年级英语下册第三模块第三单元Language in use，重点是让学生学会比较级的表达方法。通过本单元的学习使学生学会比较过去和现在的生活，能够讨论科技给人类带来的福音和由此衍生的诸多问题，能辩证的看待“好与坏”。
我现在说的这节课是本模块的第三单元。学生在八年级已经学习过了比较级，在九年级教材本模块的通过谈论过去和如今的生活复习比较级这一语言现象，重点是回顾比较级和总结常见的比较级句型。
2、Analysis of the students material
初三学生的学生的思考和逻辑能力已有很大提升，经过之前的英语学习，有了一定的语法基础，但综合运用英语的能力还有待进一步的提高；本模块的中心话题与生活密切相关，因此教师在教学过程中，应结合实际生活，激发学生兴趣，让学生主动学习，学有所获。

(1) 能比较当今生活和父辈生活的差异，并能敏感的发现比较级这一英语语言结构。
(2) 能辩证的看待古今生活的差异，尤其是科技这一双刃剑，会使用比较级句型交流。
通过学习，使学生充分认识时代的变迁、科技的进步对生活的影响，并能辩证的看待时代的发展带来的利弊。
Emotional aims
Key and different points.
重点：熟练掌握比较级的结构及句型。
难点：掌握如何变比较级，如何用比较级交流。
教法：主要采用任务型教学、直观教学、小组活动等教学方法，以学生为主体，强调学生的自主学习，鼓励学生大胆尝试，运用语言，并在语言使用过程中，学习新知识。在词汇教学方面，以图片呈现日常行为动词短语，达到直观联想的效果，对单词的记忆产生良好的作用。在句型教学方面，通过反复练习使用，达到熟练使用句型。
学法： 教师指导学生课前预习与人们日常生活起居相关的表达法 ；课内引导学生观察、模仿并表演新学句型，师生、生生进行多维互动交流，构建语言结构。

1.Work in groups and review the structure of the comparatives.
形容词和副词的比较级：
1). 规则变化
单音节词和少数双音节词， 在词尾加-er来构成比较级。
构成法 原级 比较级
一般单音节词末尾加-er, -est tall
great taller

以不发音的e结尾的单音词和少数以- le结尾的双音节词只加-r nice
large

abler
以一个辅音字母结尾的闭音节单音节词, 双写结尾的辅音字母，再加-er big

*比较级的修饰语
比较级修饰语应置于其所修饰的形容词或副词之前。常见的比较级修饰语有much, still, a little, even, far等。

设计意图：学生通过各种形式的练习，在交际的过程中进一步掌握比较级和句型结构。
