I. Material analysis
内容解读:
Thinking Skills为思维技能的学习,内容为作者意图分析。第一步,学生通过阅读作者写作意图的说明,了解其常包含以下三种:劝说、告知和娱乐,并理解本课思维技能的含义。第二步,学生借助图片和文本,勾选作者的写作意图。第三步,学生阅读文本,完成作者写作意图分析表,以实践内化所学。第四步,基于活动2的图表,学生两人一组,讨论文本如何体现作者的写作意图。本部分共有3个活动。
Reading Strategies为阅读策略的学习,通过结合文本内容和已有知识,帮助学生推断文本中的隐含之意。第一步,学生观察图文,并结合已有知识,合理推断李明的计划。第二步,学生阅读关于农民银行贷款的故事,运用推断这一阅读策略,按步骤完成表格填空。第三步,学生两人一组,基于活动2,进行分角色表演。本部分共有3个活动。
II. Teaching aims
通过本课的学习,学生能够:
运用作者意图分析的思维技能,明确作者的写作目的,培养逻辑思维;
运用推断的阅读策略,结合文本内容与已有知识,理解作者的隐含之意,提升阅读技巧和信息处理能力;
阅读文本,绘制作者意图分析表,了解信用的起源,建立信用维护意识,训练逻辑思维。
III. Teaching procedures
课时教学内容概述
本课时为思维技能和阅读策略的学习。 Thinking Skills部分为“作者意图分析”思维技能的学习。Activity 1为学习理解活动。帮助学生借助图片和文本,分析作者写作的三种意图:劝说、告知、娱乐。Activity 2为应用实践活动。要求学生阅读文本,完成作者意图分析表,了解信用的起源,巩固和内化Activity1中所学的技能。Activity 3为迁移创新活动。要求学生两人一组,基于Activity2的图表,讨论文本如何体现作者的写作意图,帮助学生牢固掌握所学的思维技能,运用所学完成任务。 Reading Strategies部分为“推断”阅读策略的学习,通过结合文本内容和已有知识,帮助学生推断文本中的隐含之意。Activity 1和Activity 2为学习理解和应用实践类活动。引导学生观察图片和阅读文本,结合已有知识,做出合理推断。Activity 3为话题迁移创新活动,基于Activity 2,进行分角色表演。

Many students go there after school to read, study, or do their homework. It is a very quiet and peaceful place. Our community is very happy to have this wonderful new space. Remember, being a smart shopper helps you save money for things that truly matter.

Q1: A low price might seem good, bit is the item is of poor quality, it is not a good deal. Cheap, low-quality things often wear out or break easily. Buying cheap things does not help some money because you will have to keep buying the same item again and again when it breaks.
