单元整体教学设计说明
学情分析
本次教学的对象是五年级学生。通过之前的英语学习,学生们已经积累了一定的词汇量,习得了一些基本的听说和会话的能力,具备了一定的通过阅读文字和图片获得信息的能力。同时在以前的学习中也涉及到了第三人称单数的表达。尽管学生现有的词汇量有限、句型不够丰富,但是他们可以通过老师创设的有意义的问题和讨论对故事的发展进行合理的想象、猜测及表达。这些前在语言知识与技能的积累为本单元的学习做好了铺垫。
“Going to school”是学生们熟悉而陌生的一个话题。陌生是因为学生们对于不同出行方式的表达存在困难,不太用英语对这一话题进行讨论。熟悉是因为“去学校”是学生们每天都要经历的事情,也是一个让学生有话可说,乐意讨论的话题,这对本单元的教学提供了帮助。
模块教学任务分析:
5A M1的学习主题是Getting to know each other,这个模块涉及到的词汇包括常见的职业(如:pilot, teacher, cook, taxi driver, 等)、交通出行方式(如:by bike, by bus, by car, on foot等)以及具体日期的表达。
本模块涉及到的句型和语法有:一般现在时态的特殊疑问句用疑问代词What…?询问他人的理想中的职业。用 How …?询问他人的交通出行方式。 用When…?询问具体日期;同时还涉及了to have/ to be/ to like等句型,一般现在时第三人称单数表达和want to do/ be的表达等。
本模块涉及的话题都源于学生的生活,与学生的日常生活关系紧密。其中,包括身边接触的不同的的职业;每天都要接触的交通方式;还有生日等。在本模块的学习过程中,不仅要注意新旧知识的有机整合,还应顾及学生语言能力要求的递进训练,将学生听说能力的训练逐步转向听、说、读、写、练、用等综合技能的训练与培养,从而真正实现阶段目标。
单元教学任务分析
本单元以Going to school(去上学)为主题展开学习过程。
在本单元的学习中,涉及的核心词汇有:by bike, by car, by bus, on foot, underground, walk, take, after, hour等;涉及的重要句型是How do you come to school?以及相应的应答。同时,能使用第三人称单数对他人的交通方式进行简单描述。
1、各学习项目分析
Look and learn: 核心学习板块,主要进行词汇学习。核心词汇包括:by bike, by car, by bus, on foot等。其中,适当拓展不同的表达,如:take the train等。
Listen and say: 核心学习板块,主要进行句型学习。重点句型是How do you come to school? I come to school on foot/ by ….要求学生能正确运用上述句型来对交通方式进行问答。并能用I walk to school/ take a bus to school.等来丰富自己的表达。同时在设置不同的场景时注意比较come to 与go to在使用时的区别。
Do a survey: 语言交际。是Listen and say的具体化。通过调查班上同学的上学方式,进一步巩固核心词汇及句型的运用。
Think and write: 写作练习。让学生根据自身情况整理并写出家人及朋友上班、上学的方式,是对重点单词和句型的复习巩固。要提醒学生关注第三人称述句的动词变化。
Look and read: 阅读延伸。通过对郭老师上班路线的学习,让学生习得更多与交通相关的词汇与表达,并能运用到其他场景之中。在阅读与获取信息的同时,着力提高其阅读兴趣,养成阅读的好习惯。
Learn the sound: 语音学习。在儿歌的朗读中学习字母组合sp 的发音,做到发音准确,到位。能区分sp-和-sp在单词中不同的发音,进而积累发音规则。
2、知识要点介绍
(1)学习和掌握核心词汇,如:by bike, by car, by bus, on foot, underground , walk, take, after, hour等,做到音、形、义的统一。
(2)学习并掌握新句型How do you come to school? I come to school on foot./ I walk to school.能用此来询问他人的交通方式,并能用不同的表达来回答。
(3)能掌握并正确运用一般现在时态,注意第三人称单数动词的形式。
(4)学习故事“Ms Guo’s journey to work”,能够理解Ms Guo的上班路程;同时能简单介绍去其他场景的路线,做到知识的运用与迁移。
(5)学习并掌握字母组合sp的发音,注意比较sp-和-sp的发音区别,进一步积累发音规律,做到发音标准,到位。
单元课时教学构思:
本单元的主题为Going to school, 需要学生能正确认读和拼写与交通方式有关的短语;能比较熟练地运用句型针对交通方式进行问答;能综合使用所学句型表达去不同地方的交通方式。在此目标统整下的分课时话题及教学目标又做了如下设计:
Period 1---Topic: My way to school 主要教学与交通方式有关的介词词组和询问他人的上学方式。
Period 2---Topic:My friends’ way to school 则聚焦于对第三人称单数的交通方式的问答。
Period 3--- Topic:Ms Guo’s journey to work.让学生综合运用所学知识来描述去不同地点的出行方式的表达。
通过这样三个单课时教学来完成本单元的整体教学设计。使学生对本单元有一个比较全面的认识与理解。
