译林出版社义务教育教科书《英语》五上 Unit5 What do they do? (Story time)
三、单元分析
本单元的主要教学内容是职业名称和工作内容,同时继续呈现了动词的一般现在时第三人称单数形式及用法。教学重点是职业类动词和句型What do you do?和What does he/she do?及其回答 He/She is a . . .的语调和用法。教师在课前要求学生了解家人的职业和具体工作内容,为课堂教学做准备。在语法教学方面,教师可以将学生用书五年级上册Unit3中has的用法和unit4中likes用法作为话题引入活动,为学生学习更多动词的第三人称单数形式做好准备。教师在讲解动词加“s”或“es”转换成为第三人称单数形式时,可以给出多个实例,让学生自己总结转换的规律。
四、学情分析
知识基础:
1. 学生现有基础是什么?
话题基础:学生喜欢谈论职业类问题,问答气氛会比较好;
单词基础:在之前的学习过程中,学生对teacher, doctor, student, farmer等单词已经有了接触,能够容易理解;
句型基础:在五上三四单元中已经涉及第三人称单数,所以学生对do和does区分较熟悉。
2. 学生还缺什么?
单词:职业类新单词,如:writer, worker及描述职业具体工作等新单词不熟;
句型:问职业句型What do you/they do? What does he/she do?为新授,本节课需要学习并理解。
3. 学生可能遇到的问题:
描述职业具体工作的新单词会阻碍学生对课文的理解;
文本内容较长,所以在第一节课中可能达不到表演的要求。
4. 教学策略
A.通过观看动画,创设情境,组织游戏等活动帮助学生理解故事,建构知识。
B.在情境中教学新单词并加以操练。
C.让学生在主动探究、合作学习的过程中,内化知识,提升能力。
五、教学目标
1.学生能初步能理解并且会听、会说、会读单词或词组:teach, writer, factory worker, help sick people等;
2.学生能初步感知句型,能初步听懂并且会读,理解句型:What does…do?
He’s / She’s a ….He/She…(s/es)…
3.学生能在老师的帮助下,在情境中理解、掌握对话内容,能用正确的语音语调
朗读对话,并初步表演对话。
六、教学重难点
【教学重点】
学生能在教师帮助下和情境中整体理解语篇,正确流利地朗读课文,并能初步表演课文。
【教学难点】
学生能够正确朗读write stories, help sick people, factory worker, make sweets等单词及词组;
教师能够通过课堂观察及时了解学生的不同学习需求,进行个性化指导。
