1教学目标
1. 能够借助图片和表示询问、偏好、邀请等功能的语句,就生日聚会这个话题完成询问和表达挑选生日蛋糕和礼物的任务。
2. 能够在生日聚会这个话题的相关语境中听、说、认读star-shaped cake, heart-shaped cake, round-shaped cake, square-shaped cake, milk cake, jelly, fruit pie等有关生日聚会的三会单词和短语;能够在真实的语境中听、说、读、写kind, ice cream, candy等四会单词。
3. 能够在生日聚会这个话题的相关语境中听、说、认读What kind of cake would you like? I’d like a heart-shaped cake.等句子;能够在真实的语境中听、说、读、写Can I have some ice cream? Sure. 句式表达请求。
4. 能够在具体的情境中,基本正确地用英语相互询问、交流有关询问和表达挑选生日蛋糕和礼物的任务,如:What kind of cake would you like? What shape would you like?等。
5. 能够通过自然拼读,体会和掌握字母组合ow在单词中的读音规律,读出例词并能正确地说唱歌谣,做到发音准确、清晰。
2学情分析
本节课的授课对象是小学六年级的学生,他们对英语知识有了一定基础,对英语学习有了一定的能力。本课授课班级的学生,能够掌握基本的英语学习策略、方法,能够听得懂教师的课堂用语并去做。对英语学习有持续的兴趣并能够在课上主动参与、实践,积极与人合作,完成各项英语活动。

教学重点
1. 能够在生日聚会这个话题的相关语境中听、说、认读star-shaped cake, heart-shaped cake, round-shaped cake, square-shaped cake, milk cake, jelly, fruit pie等有关生日聚会的三会单词和短语;能够在真实的语境中听、说、读、写kind, ice cream, candy等四会单词。

活动1【导入】Step 1 热身 /复习
1. Greeting.
2. Divide the students into five groups.
T: Today we have five groups. If you answer questions correctly or do exercises well, you can get one balloon for your group. At the end of class, we will count these balloons and choose the winner.
【设计意图】教师进行本节课的分组,并向学生阐述本节课的评价细则,激发学生对本节课的学习兴趣。
3.Teacher plays the song 《Happy Birthday To You》 and say: Lisa’s birthday is coming. Her birthday is on September 30th. She will have a birthday party. She gives an invitation card to her friend, Li Yan. So Li Yan wants to buy a birthday cake and some other food for her.教师播放生日歌,引出Lisa的生日快到了,创设她的好朋友Li Yan打算去给她买生日礼物的情景,开展本节课的教学。
【设计意图】在导入环节,播放生日歌曲,引出Lisa将要过生日的话题,展示Lisa给Li Yan的生日聚会邀请卡片,自然过渡到本节课的为朋友购买生日礼物的学习情景中。
活动2【讲授】Step 2新课导入
1.Listen the first time and answer:听录音并回答(一听)
①Ss listen to the tape and answer:学生听录音并回答问题
What kind of cake would Li Yan like?
Li Yan would like a chocolate cake.
(Show the picture and speak the word chocolate cake)
②T: What kind of cake do you know? 教师继续提问你知道什么类型的蛋糕。
Ss answer.(milk, cake, fruit cake, jelly cake)学生回答出一些蛋糕学习并读单词。

③T: What kind of cake would you like? (Show the picture)
教师出示问句并引导学生进行回答。
S1: I’d like a chocolate cake.(Show the picture)

学生对问句进行回答。
④Practice in groups.小组内操练句型。
【设计意图】本节课通过对15课所学知识进行文本再构的方式,将文本以让学生进行听的途径,作为本节课的教学主线,贯穿始终,在听和答的过程中,进行对单词、句子的学习和巩固。这一环节为第一听,学生听录音,回答问题,引出chocolate cake,再进而学习其他类型的蛋糕,以及句子:What kind of cake would you like? — I’d like a ... .并进行操练。

学习几种不同形状蛋糕。

活动3【练习】Step 3趣味操练
1. Let’s play a bomb game. 通过炸弹游戏复习巩固蛋糕相关的单词。
【设计意图】本环节的目的是对于前面所学单词的巩固操练。在游戏中,学生们根据游戏规则说出单词,对单词进行了复习巩固,为后面进行的语言交际打下坚实的基础。
2. Let’s read and chant! 让我们来说歌谣!

小组活动编排新歌谣并展示。
【设计意图】本环节通过对蛋糕类型单词、蛋糕种类单词分别编排歌谣,使学生在愉悦的学习氛围中,再次对所学知识进行加强巩固。本环节注重了分层设置,第一遍和第二遍歌谣以教师带领全班歌唱的方式进行,第三遍则由小组内活动,自行编排歌谣开展。这样,突出了课堂以学生为主体的教学理念,大大地激发了学生们的学习兴趣。
3.Group work:小组活动。
Practise these sentences with some small cards in your groups and then show to the whole class. 在组内利用所给蛋糕的卡片操练以下句型,并且在班内进行展示。( ... What kind of cake would like? I’d like a ... .What shape would like? I’d like a ... . ...)
【设计意图】本环节为小组活动,学生们在组内进行对所学句子的操练。课前教师为每组分发一些蛋糕的小图片,每个学生可以自行选择想买的蛋糕并在组内与其他学生进行语言交际。
4. Listen the third time and answer: 听录音回答问题(三听)
Li Yan also wants to buy some other food.

Li Yan wants to buy some candy, ice cream, jelly and fruit pies.
回答引出单词candy, ice cream, jelly, fruit pie的复习巩固。

在此环节对4会单词和句型进行板书示范。
【设计意图】本环节为第三听,学生通过听录音回答问题,巩固学习单词candy, ice cream, jelly, fruit pies;句子:Can I have...? —Sure.这些单词、句子在之前均已有学习基础,在此环节是巩固的过程,对于4会的单词和句子在黑板上进行板书示范。

活动4【活动】Step 4拓展活动
Let’s act! 让我们来表演!
T: Lisa also gives us an invitation card to us to go to her birthday party. Let’s go shopping to buy something for her, OK? 继续为Lisa准备生日礼物的话题,创设我们为她购买生日礼物的情景开展,在情景中,进行对语言的交际。
1. Show these shops. This is Jin Le Yuan cake shop. This is Hao Li Lai cake shop. In these shops there are so many kinds of food. 出示两个蛋糕店背景,每个蛋糕店都有各种各样的食物。
2. The first time, I will be the shop assistant. Who wants to buy something? 首先,教师为售货员,请学生来买东西,大屏幕出示语言提示,学生可参照。
3. This turn is group work. Make new dialogues in your groups with your partner. 其次,进行学生与学生之间的对话,再次,进行小组活动,根据语言提示自编对话并在班内展示。
4. Count balloons and choose the winner of this class. 总结本节课形成性评价结果,进行鼓励。
【设计意图】本环节为拓展练习环节。教师延伸本课为Lisa的生日聚会买礼物的情景,创设本班学生在蛋糕店买东西的真实情景,使学生获得实际操练语言的机会,并由浅入深的进行对话的交际。首先进行教师与学生的对话示范,教师作为引导者,在大屏幕上出示提示语言,帮助学生突破语言障碍,在教师与学生进行示范之后,开始小组合作形式,小组内进行对话的编排并在全班进行展示。从而达到对本节课所学语言真正能够进行语言交际的目的。最后进行对本节课形成性评价的总结,使本节课的评价有始有终,能够充分发挥评价的积极作用。
活动5【作业】Step 5 Homework

【设计意图】本节课的作业设计为开放性作业,即学生用所学的知识进行真正的购物体验,这样不但要求学生对本节课上的语言知识点进行了巩固,同时也对小学阶段学习过的购物情景下的语言点进行了归纳复习巩固。
