The Boy Who Cried Wolf
Once upon a time (很久,以前) there was a boy who was given the task of tending a herd of sheep (照看羊群) on a hill near a village (村庄). The boy grew tired and bored while watching the sheep. He climbed to the top of a tree and shouted toward the village, “Wolf! Wolf! Help me please!”
When the villagers heard his cry for help, they ran to the hill to help him. When they got there, there was no wolf, and the boy was laughing. The villagers were annoyed. They returned (返回) to the village and back to their normal (正常的) activities.
A few days later, the boy grew bored again, and played the same trick on the villagers. The villagers were furious (暴怒的) at the boy.
