概要写作
写作指导
概要写作,简言之就是对所读过的文章进行简要概括,写出文章的中心大意。这一题型主要考查对文章主旨大意的概括和准确获取关键词的能力,同时考查学生用简洁的语言概括文章重要信息的能力以及对文章整体结构把握的能力。通常答题步骤如下:
1.确定主题句。文章的主题句一般在开头或结尾,没有主题句的需要自己组合。
2.寻找关键词。分析主题句意义,确定关键词,关键词一般为名词、形容词等,关键词的数目决定了概括的信息浓度。
3.重构主题句。主题句用来概括段落的内容,表明作者的观点,段落中的其他句子都要围绕主题句来扩展。因此,主题句必须主旨鲜明、言简意赅。
4.重组支撑句。支撑句的意义在逻辑上受制于主题句,可以起补充作用或者提供证据。

阅读下面短文,根据其内容写一篇60词左右的内容概要。
How could we possibly think that keeping animals in cages in unnatural environments—mostly for entertainment purposes—is fair and respectful
Zoo officials say they are concerned about animals.However,some zoos remain “collections” of interesting “things” rather than protective habitats.
Zoos claim to educate people and save endangered species,but visitors leave zoos without having learned anything meaningful about the animals’ natural behaviour,intelligence,or beauty.Zoos keep animals in small spaces or cages,and most signs only mention the species’ names,diets,and natural ranges.The animals’ normal behaviour is seldom noticed because zoos don’t usually take care of the animals’ natural needs.
The animals are kept together in small spaces,with no privacy and little opportunity for mental and physical exercise.This results in unusual and self-destructive behaviour called zoochosis(动物精神病).A worldwide study of zoos found that zoochosis is common among animals kept in small spaces or cages.Another study showed that elephants spend 22 percent of their time making repeated head movements or biting cage bars,and bears spend 30 percent of their time walking back and forth,a sign of unhappiness and pain.
Furthermore,most animals in zoos are not endangered.Captive breeding of endangered big cats,Asian elephants,and other species has not resulted in their being sent back to the wild.Zoos talk a lot about their captive breeding programmes because they do not want people to worry about a species dying out.In fact,baby animals also attract a lot of paying customers.Haven’t we seen enough competitions to name baby animals
Actually,we will save endangered species only if we save their habitats and put an end to the reasons why people kill them.Instead of supporting zoos,we should support groups that work to protect animals’ natural habitats.
