新闻报道
本单元的写作任务是写一则新闻报道。新闻报道是记叙文的一种,其特点是以事实为依据,对人的经历或事实给予明确的、实事求是的报道。
一、注意事项
1.要保证事件的真实性、准确性、及时性。
2.要有明确的文章结构。
3.语言要具体、准确、简练,通俗易懂。
二、基本结构
英语新闻报道通常包括四部分。
1.标题:标题应当简洁明了。
2.导语:导语是报道开头的第一段或第一句,要简明扼要地揭示出消息的核心内容。
3.主体:主体是报道的主要部分,要用充足的事实表现主题,对导语的内容做进一步的展开和阐述。
4.结束语:通常是对全文内容进行概括性的总结。
常用句式
1.It is reported that...据报道……
2.As is reported/According to the report,...据报道,……
3.The activity was very popular with...这项活动很受……的欢迎。
4.The volunteers learned a lot from...志愿者们从……中学到了很多。
5.Apart from knowledge,we also came to realise the importance of teamwork.
除了知识,我们还意识到了团队合作的重要性。
6.The activity benefited us a lot./The activity was of great benefit to us./The activity was beneficial to us./We benefited a lot from the activity.
这项活动使我们受益匪浅。

Student Volunteers Brought Sunshine to the Elderly
On May Day,Li Yue and Zhang Hua,students from Class Three, Senior Two,went to Sunshine Nursing Home to do some voluntary work.Upon their arrival,Li Yue and Zhang Hua were warmly welcomed.They presented the elderly with flowers and fruits,which made the elderly very happy.Then,they started working,cleaning the windows and sweeping the floor.After everything had been done,they sat in the yard chatting with the elderly people.When it was time for the volunteers to leave,the elderly people thanked them for their kindness.They said it was such a beautiful day that they would remember it forever.
Li Yue and Zhang Hua were very happy.What they did has brought joy to others and enriched their own lives.
