Every evening from 7 pm to 10 pm, when people walk through Judong No. 3 Park in Seoul, South Korea, they often see a tall, uniformed policeman, who is over 170 cm tall, standing near the walking paths. With a calm voice, he reminds visitors that "The police will come right away," and also warns, "There are cameras watching everywhere." But if you walk closer, you'll notice something unusual-this "policeman" is not real at all. He is actually a 3D hologram (全息影像) a lifelike image made with special technology.
This special holographic police officer was developed by Hologrammica, a company that creates advanced holographic images. The realistic-looking "policeman" was first placed in the park in October last year as an experimental project. Since then, local reports show that it has played a big role in reducing crime in the area.
"The hologram helps people feel safer just by standing there. It also prevents disorderly behavior, such as fighting," said Jungbu Police Station Chief Ahn Donghyun. "We will continue using AI and smart technologies to improve safety in public places."
According to the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, after the hologram was installed, the number of crimes in and around the park dropped by about 22%. That means fewer thefts, fights, and other problems. Although the hologram cannot catch criminals directly, it helps prevent crime and make people feel safer.
Police sources said that even though most people realize it's not a real officer, just seeing a "policeman" in uniform makes them think twice before breaking rules. *This creative project shows how new technology, like 3D holograms, can help protect communities without requiring an increase in police officers. It's a smart, safe, and affordable way to make public spaces better for everyone.

In the video, a mother insists that her son drink loofah soup to "reduce inner heat", 2 he refuses and finally loses his temper. The mother immediately says back: "You seem so worked up--that must be 3 you have too much inner heat. Have some loofah soup to cool down."
