Lin Hao is a 10-year-old student from Beijing. One day, he traveled to Henan by train with his father. On the way, he looked out of the windows on the train. “Wow! So many football fields!” Lin Hao’s eyes were wide with excitement as the high-speed rail cut through the countryside.
His father, Mr Lin, smiled while cleaning his glasses. “Oh, Son, those aren’t football fields. In fact, they’re wheat fields, which are very important to Chinese people. ”
“Wheat fields Dad, you must be kidding. They look just like big, green playgrounds!”
“Hey, boy!” A smiling old farmer called beside them. His straw hat (草帽) looked like the ones that Lin Hao had seen in picture books. “Do you see those green fields That’s wheat—the treasure of Henan! We grow enough wheat here to make mantou for everyone in Beijing for a whole year!”
Lin Hao’s mouth formed a perfect “O”. “Really Is all that mantou from these wheat fields ” Lin Hao asked in surprise. He pressed his small hands against the window. “But why are the wheat fields moving like that ”

On January 20, 2025, a Chinese tech company made a new AI called Deepseek. It quickly became the most downloaded free app on the Apple App Store worldwide, followed by ChatGPT from Open AI.
This smart program can solve math problems, write code (编码), and answer questions like top models such as Open AP’s GPT-40, but it costs much less to build. A CNBC report agreed, “Deepseek has a place in the U.S. AI market, because it can beat American’s best AI with less cost and less-powerful chips (芯片).” It shows that good ideas can beat big money.
Usually, AIs need lots of prepared examples to improve. However, Deepseek learns by itself. For example, when dealing with users’ questions or recognizing images, Deepseek doesn’t need a lot of pre-made examples like old-style AIs. It just figures things out on its own and does a much better job. Therefore, it can help run on low-cost computers, helping schools and small companies.
What’s even better for these organizations is that Deepseek is open-source. It’s like a shared recipe (配方). Everyone can see the ingredients and change it to suit their taste. Likewise, Deepseek users can change the code to fit their needs without asking anyone for permission (允许). A Meta top scientist said, “This kind of free AI could change the world.”
These outstanding advantages of Deepseek has attracted widespread attention. More and more international companies want to partner with Chinese AI labs, making China’s voice in the international AI market louder. At the same time, many foreign companies plan to put more money in AI research to develop advanced AI like Deepseek.
Deepseek, as a rising AI star, has a bright future. It can be changed for online shopping and medical imaging. Working with labs and cloud service providers will make it bigger, and the open-source community will help, too. However, nothing is perfect in the world.

On April 19, 2025, Yizhuang in Beijing held the world’s first humanoid (人形的) robot half-marathon. 36 They came from different cities like Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangdong. The humanoid robots ran on a 21.1-kilometer race along with human runners. This showed that robots can do real-life tasks, such as long-distance running.
The winner was Tiangong Ultra from the Beijing Humanoid Robot Center. 37 And its top speed was 12 km/h. This 1.8-meter-tall robot used light materials and cooling systems to stop it from getting too hot. Other teams, like Robot Whirlwind Kid and Robot Little Giant (a 75-centimeter-tall robot), had cool features too. Whirlwind Kid had shoes that could absorb shock (减震), and Little Giant used AI to keep balance on slopes (斜坡).
38 It had 14 sharp turns and slopes along the way. It also had different surfaces, like grass and gravel (石子路). Teams could change the robots’ batteries (电池) at seven battery stations. If a team replaced the whole robot, they lost 10 minutes. Some robots wore special shoes to protect their joints (关节), and others used sensors (传感器) to avoid falling.

Organizers said it was a big step forward. They thought robots could help doctors in hospitals or move things in factories in the future.

76.例文1
It is better to study alone
In my opinion, studying alone is a better way to learn.
First of all, you can learn at your own pace and use your own methods. Being alone helps you stay focused on your learning, which makes it easier for you to understand and remember information.
Also, studying alone helps you become more independent. When you meet challenges, you have to find solutions on your own. This not only makes you smarter but also teaches you to trust yourself.
Although studying with others can be enjoyable and you can learn from each other, it can sometimes be easy to lose focus or have one person take over the discussion. When you study alone, you don’t have to worry about any of that.
Therefore, studying alone is the best choice for us.
例文2
It is better to study in a group
I do believe studying in a group is cool because you can learn with others. When you talk and ask each other questions, it makes learning fun and helps you see things in new ways.
What’s more, studying in groups is also good for learning to work with people, which is important for later life. It makes studying less boring and more fun.
Sometimes, people might not agree or they might get distracted, but if everyone works together and is respectful, it’s not a big problem. The good things about studying in a group, like helping each other and learning together, are better than any bad things.
So, studying in a group is the best because it’s fun and it teaches you to work as a team.
