In America, Halloween is a time for fun. Trick or treat!

In American schools, there is an event called Homecoming Day. Many high schools and colleges with a football team have a homecoming game. This can be the most important event of the year except Graduation or Commencement (毕业典礼) Day. Students plan Homecoming Day for many weeks ahead.
Several days before Homecoming, students start to decorate the school. There are signs to wish good luck to the team, and many other signs to welcome all the graduates. Many people still come to Homecoming twenty or thirty years after their graduation.

2025 ‘The Voice of XJTLU’ Singing Competition Audition (选拔) Notice
In order to enrich school life and create an energetic and colorful atmosphere, XJTLU will hold the ‘The Voice of XJTLU’ Singing Competition on May 28, 2025, at 18:00 in CBG13W. This event provides a platform for students and teachers who love singing to show their talents and build friendship through music.
∵ Event System:
Contestants Selection (预选赛):
16 contestants (比赛者) (8 students and 8 teachers) will be chosen based on online works and told by email.
Final Competition:
Round 1:
All 16 contestants perform classic songs (3 minutes each). Judges will score them, and the top six will move on to the next round.
Round 2:
Final 6 contestants perform freely chosen songs, and winners will be awarded based on their scores. The highest and lowest scores are removed to ensure fairness.
