设计意图:在了解了虎鲸,及虎鲸与人类的关系之后,引到捕鲸这个话题上来,并让学生讨论反对捕鲸的原因和支持捕鲸的原因。这一环节主要是让学生积极参与讨论,动脑思考,合作学习,学习大胆的表达自己的感想。并提高学生对保护濒危动物的意识。
The last whaling station in Australia closed in 1978. They are now protected by an international ban on whaling. However, some countries oppose the ban.

课后反思:“兴趣是最好的老师”。只有学生对英语课文产生兴趣,他们的英语才会有提高的可能。教师在教学过程中,要设法保持学生旺盛的精力和良好的兴趣,培养他们自主学习的能力,扩大教学容量,培养学生的阅读能力,为高考奠定基础。在课前我充分地对教材进行整理和知识梳理。首先,根据我所教学生的英语基础,对教材的内容进行了重新整理,采用分层次教学,设计的习题分为难、中、易三个层次。让所有的学生都有机会有能力来参与到英语课堂中来并所有收获。其次,为了增加学生的兴趣,创设情境,采用猜谜语的方式来导入课堂。再次,组织生动的教学活动,由学生进行自由讨论,给出自己的观点,培养他们独立思考和自主学习的能力,老师为这一环节进行总结。最后,对全文进行小结练习,以高考题型语法填空为依托,让学生对课文进行整体的回归。总的来说,既增加了学生的学习兴趣,又培养了他们独立学习的能力。
但在本节课中,各部分衔接仍有瑕疵,这将是我作为一名英语教师要不断努力学习的方向和目标。今后要更多的进行实践,积累更多教学经验,去高效地驾驭课堂!
