本节课上完之后，反思了很多。既有收获，又有遗憾的地方。主要总结如下：
一、本节课的成功之处
课堂导入环节自然，具有趣味性和导向性，激发了学生的学习兴趣，利用视频和图片使学生较快地融入到了教学中去，产生了积极去阅读的欲望。
课堂结构紧凑、脉络清晰，层次分明，能调动不同层次学生的积极性。采用活动的形式，步步跟进，每项活动教师先行布置，学生单独或分小组探究解决，任务难度由浅入深，引领学生一步一步深入理解课文，体味英语语言的魅力，在探究、讨论、交流、展示中不断得到语言实践和锻炼，使学生英语语言运用能力得以提高。
设计的讨论环节，学生参与积极性很高，学生都提出了很多有力的证据来证明自己的观点，同学们表现得非常出色。事实证明：只要给学生一个舞台，学生会还你一个奇迹。
班长的课后总结非常重要，班长地位要发挥到极致。
二、本节课的不足之处主要有：
1.阅读文章较长，读中活动开展地不太充分。
2.还有一小部分同学主动回答问题的积极性不是很高，要让他们勇敢地开口把英语说出来。
3.阅读活动中还应鼓励学生自创问题情景，互相解答，充分体现学生的主体地位。
4.本节课还可设计学生的自评活动，教师的评价方式也较为单一笼统，应该在这些方面多做些努力，以此来激励学生。
5.精读课文方面应让学生提出自己的难点句子来重点分析。
