【单元教材分析】
本单元主要学习一周中星期一到星期天的表达方式；掌握学科的表达；学习用because和表示品质的形容词表示理由；学习what，why，who引导的特殊疑问句。本单元内容与学生的日常活动学习有关，每个话题是能够引起学生共鸣的，学生在学习过程中会觉得有话可说，有兴趣参与。围绕“谈论自己所喜欢的学科”这一话题，本单元的语言目标是：询问最喜爱的科目；谈论为什么喜欢某门科目；用形容词描述科目的特点；描述各科目的时间安排。

work问答式的口语交际活动或调查活动，谈论各自所喜欢的学科或其它的事情并给出理由。本单元的教学法建议：语音教学：模仿操练；词汇教学：演示讲解、情景操练、反复使用；口语教学：互相操练、对话练习、交际活动；阅读教学：回答问题和填空练习；听力教学：听音选词、写词和整理、完成对话；写作教学：听写词句、补全对话、模仿写作；语法教学：总结规律、比较异同、模仿操练。
【教学方法】
1.
任务型教学法：新课标倡导的"玩中学，学中玩"的理念也很受学生欢迎。例如，谈论自己喜欢的科目；询问他人喜欢的科目。
2.
竞赛教学法和小组合作教学法：
根据初中生争强好胜的性格特征，进行俩俩对话，激发学生兴趣，给学生创造外语语言氛，培养学生集体荣誉感。同时，以小组形式互问互答，可以巩固学生所学知识。
