Many people's closest experience with wild animals is at the zoo. It's a place where we can see and learn about animals. It's really fun and educational for us. However, is it the best place for animals to live in

▲ People try to make zoos more like their natural homes. They build bigger places, and try to make the environment as close to the nature as possible.
Some people think it's not right to keep animals in zoos just for our entertainment (娱乐). But zoos say they are trying to help animals by teaching people about protecting them. And now, zoos that are run well also help to support and pay for programs that protect animals.
Zoos help to save animals that are in danger of disappearing because of climate change. RobertYoung, an expert on protecting animals, says that zoos are important because they keep many animals from going extinct. Some zoos have special programs to help animals have babies so that they won't die out.
Although people still talk about whether having zoos is good or not, there are new ways to learn about wild animals. For example, we can use the VR (虚拟现实) technology. Many zoo experts believe it will be possible to walk through a group of elephants in the Serengeti very soon.

The Common Hero in My Heart
Around us, there are heroes in everyday life, whose small acts show big hearts. For me, this common hero is Aunt Wang. She is a cleaner in our neighborhood.
Aunt Wang faces many challenges during her work, but she bravely overcomes them. Dealing with uncooperative neighbors is one of them. Some people threw trash carelessly. Instead of complaining, she drew colorful signs to teach garbage sorting and explained the rules with patience. When someone laughed at her job, she smiled and said,“Keeping our home clean is everyone's duty and helping others is helping yourself.”
Aunt Wang has a great influence on me. First, I learn some lifelong lessons. No job is unimportant—— Every effort, no matter how small, helps society. Second, inspired by her, I decide to be a volunteer and help more people, just like her.
