教材分析 七年级上册 Unit 4 的单元主题是 My Favourite Subject,本单元围绕学科学习这一话题,创设真实的校园生活情境,展示学生日常的学习与生活。旨在让学生通过谈论在校学习的科目、各自最爱的学科及原因,交流对不同学科的认识,理解初中不同学科的特点和作用,反思自己的学习状态,并主动培养对各学科的兴趣,学会采取有效方法解决学习中遇到的问题,全面发展自己的能力,丰富自己的人生。
教学目标 1. 通过看图预测话题、听关键词获取信息等学习策略,理解主人公Emma, Meimei, Binbin 最喜爱的学科及原因。 2. 通过归因建模、仿句练习、模仿跟读、互助练读、角色扮演等活动,学会多维度分析、表达最爱学科的原因,并能发现对话中的连读现象,在连贯、流畅的语流中正确使用连读。(具体语言知识见图 3) 3.通问卷前测、划分学科小组、采访求助等活动,进一步认识自己最爱学科的魅力和价值,更新对自己不喜欢学科的认知,从而树立积极向上、全面发展的学习态度。
教学重难点 1. 通过看图预测话题、听关键词获取信息等学习策略,理解主人公 Emma, Meimei, Binbin 最喜爱的学科及原因。(重点) 2. 通过归因建模、仿句练习、模仿跟读、互助练读、角色扮演等活动,学会多维度分析、表达最爱学科的原因,并能发现对话中的连读现象,在连贯、流畅的语流中正确使用连读。(难点)

2. Share subjects you don’t like Ss talk about the subjects they don’t like by using “I don’t like ... because ...” 引导学生觉察自己不喜欢学科的原因,进而引出本课时探究主题 “To know different subjects better”。
Learn from others 1. Predict (1) Ss predict the topic of the conversation by viewing the picture carefully. (2) Ss watch the video and check the prediction. (1)培养学生“看”图预测话题的学习策略。 (2)验证预测,初步感知对话。
2. Listen for key information (1) Ss listen to the first part of the conversation, match the names with their favourite subjects, and check the answers by reading the supporting sentences together. (2) Ss listen again,complete the reasons in the table, and learn two new words—past, number in checking. (3) Ss listen to the next part and answer the questions. (1)使学生理解主人公最喜欢的学科及原因,并培养他们“听关键词获取信息”的学习策略。 (2)输入目标语言,感受多样化原因。通过图片理解学习 past, number 两个新单词。 (3)感悟 Emma 积极好学、认真对待所有学科、不断完善自己学习方法的学习品质。
3. Practice the language (1) Ss match the reasons with the three aspects——ability,teacher and subject. Ss, with the help of the teacher, set up the STAR model to talk about reasons for their favourite subjects. (2) Ss practice the sentence patterns by guessing the reasons in pairs with the help of the pictures. (1)归因建构 STAR 原因分析模型,助力学生思维表达。 (2)通过看图仿说练习,内化 STAR 模型,并练习最爱学科 Subject,Teacher,Ability 三方面原因的目标语言,为输出搭建语言支架。
4. Speak with good pronunciation (1) Ss imitate and learn “C+V LingKing” by watching the video on pads. Then practice and check in groups.Two groups come to the platform. One ticks the linking, the other teaches class to read. (2) Ss role play the conversation with the teacher. (1) 通过“四级制”小组自学、展学,巩固连读技巧,培养学生合作学习的能力。 (2) 在角色朗读中练习、检测连读技巧,再次内化理解文本。
Help each other Speak to know different subjects better (1) Ss get to know the outline of the interview by concluding the structure of the conversation. (2) Ss work in groups to prepare their own part and rehearse the interview. (3) Some students do their interviews and then other students comment with the checklist with the teacher’s help. (4)Ss and the teacher make a conclusion for the whole class. (1) 总结文本结构,构建采访提纲。结合话筒意象的板书驱动本课的输出任务。 (2) 准备采访的过程是对自己最爱学科魅力和价值的再一次探索。 (3) 各小组间的采访展示助力学生更新对不喜欢学科的认知,形成积极向上、全面发展的学习态度。 (4)升华各学科对我们生活的引领作用,初步理解单元大问题 Why do we learn different subjects
Homework Must do: 1. Imitate and recite the conversation. 2. Interview teachers and classmates to know the subjects you don’t like better and complete the KWL chart. Can do: Search for the application (应用) of different subjects in life. https:///list-of school-subjects/ 1.通过模仿、背诵对话进一步练习口语技能。 2.通过 KWL 表格复盘本课时所学,并养成自我反思、自我提升的良好习惯。 3.课外采访和网络资源搜索,拓宽课堂的外延,深化对自己不喜欢学科魅力和价值的认识,巩固学习成果。
板书设计 Unit 4 Section A 2a-2f To know different subjects better. 设计意图: 板书呈现本堂课的主题任务“To know different subjects better.”。板书主体以课堂输出活动“采访求助”的话筒为意象,不光呈现本课的问题解决任务线和知识学习线,也让采访提纲“Share your problem—Talk about reasons— Ask for help”三个环节更具象化,还为学生搭建了语言和思维的双重支架。STAR 原因分析模型的两边将手写课堂 Practise the language 环节中学生生成的语块,目标语言更突出、夯实。
