一、教材分析
本学习模块和第二学习模块的学习内容联系紧密,这两个学习模块主要是对常见的动词和现在进行时进行了学习。课文内容与现实生活联系紧密,方便了英语与之相联系,会使学生产生浓厚兴趣,这样就更容易掌握所学内容。与此同时,第二学习模块已为本学习模块奠定了一定的基础,不过,相比较下,第三学习模块学习的词汇量多点。
本课是四年级(新课标三年级起点)上册,Module3 Unit2 What’s the elephant doing 本课的重心是对draw/jump/sing/dance这四个动词的学习,包括他们的-ing形式,还要会认读What’s the elephant doing 这个句型。 21cnjy.com

二、教学目标:
1.识记单词draw/jump/sing/dance,能听懂会说What’s the elephant doing
2.能听懂会说What’s the elephant doing 并询问场景。
3.乐于感知并积极尝试使用英语。
三、教学重点:
1. 熟练运用目标中单词与句型,并能用现在进行时进行问答。
学会问句:What is…doing
区分there be句型的单复数形式。.
2. 难点:现在进行时的基本句子结构。
四.教学过程:
1. Warm up
Greetings
T: Hello boys and girls. Before our class, let’s review what we learnt last class.
Ss: OK.
T: First, let’s sing a song. What are they doing
唱完歌曲之后做对话练习。看图,用What are they doing They are… 进行问答。
2. Presentation
(1)New words
首先学习新单词,draw, jump, sing, dance 图片解释,听音跟读 例句解释。
(2)Play a game.
T:Now let’s play a game. First, look at the words and the pictures. Then order the pictures.
认真读单词、看图片,根据单词的顺序给图片排序。
T:Now let’s play another game.
猜图游戏,出示图片的一部分内容,学生用句子What are they doing 或者What is she/he doing 来进行学问。答语可以用They are… She/ He is…来回答。21·cn·jy·com
(3)Read and answer. 读课文,回答问题。

读课文,看课文中的四种动物都在做什么?
(4)Read and answer.阅读课文回答问题。

(5)Let’s talk. 看图,练习对话。
(6)Fill in the blacks
(7) Read, tick then ask and answer. 看图中的人物,选择。
3. Practice
(1)Listen and choose..
听声音,选择图片,考察学生的听力能力。
(2)Let’s play. 学生四人小组完成游戏。第一个同学说I’m … 第二个同学说She is… I’m… 第三个同学说 She is… He is… I’m… 以此类推,看哪个小组最快速度完成。
