Many people like to travel by plane, but I don’t. An airport(机场) is usually far from the city. You have to get there early and wait for hours for the plane to take off and it’s often late. You can’t open the windows. You can’t choose(选择) the food. Planes are fast, but it still takes hours to get out of the airport and into the city.
I like traveling by train. I think trains are safe. Train stations are usually in cities. When you are late for a train, you can catch another one. “Keep your eyes on your own paper” is one of the rules that Mrs. Archer taught us. It is an easy rule, but it’s not a rule everybody chooses to follow.
This morning, I had an experience with a “rule breaker” during an English exam. I felt somebody was watching me a little too closely(近地). I turned my head quickly and saw James who sat right behind me. He said in a low voice(低声), “I hope you studied for this exam!” I gave him a smile(微笑), not sure if he was joking(开玩笑), and returned to my paper.
