burn nosebleed choking heart attack
Sample answers:
Nosebleed (82词)
When someone has a nosebleed, follow these clear steps to stop it safely: First, have the person sit up straight and lean forward slightly. Next, use your thumb and index finger to gently press the soft part of the nostrils together. Hold this pressure steadily for 5 to 10 minutes. Then, if the bleeding doesn’t slow down, place a cold compress on the bridge of the nose. Finally, if the bleeding still hasn’t stopped after 20 minutes, see a doctor for further help.
Choking (77词)
If you see someone choking, first, call the emergency services. Then, check if the victim is really choking: A choking person cannot speak. Next, you can perform the Heimlich maneuver by standing behind him and wrapping your arms around his waist. Make a tight fist with one hand and put it in the upper part of his stomach. Grab your fist with your other hand tightly, then give quick upward pushes until the object comes out .
