在本课的设计中,我以“传统节日”作为中心,分中国的节日和西方的节日两大线条展开教学。课前我让学生们从Chinese
New
Year、Christmas、Easter、Halloween、四个节日中自己选择一个节日,课后去做相关节日的资料准备。我预设了几个问题:When
What
do
people
do
How
do
people
celebrate
it
Why
并告诉他们是小组竞赛形式,Maggie
要进行评奖的。学生们兴趣蛮高的。
我在授课时,特别注意创设积极的情景去激活学生的已有背景知识,从而激发其学习兴趣,调动其学习欲望,然后再提供帮助,让我的学生在轻松,自主的氛围中积极构建新知识。
在教学的过程中,我也特别注重了对学生进行文化意识的灌输,文化意识作为新课程所倡导的学生综合语言运用能力的五大要素之一,已越来越受到老师们的重视。让学生们以Chinese
New
Year、Christmas、Easter、Halloween
为主题进行分组活动,介绍课前自己所准备的资料,学生们在对Chinese
New
Year、Christmas、Easter、Halloween
分别介绍后,我引导学生对中西方各自的重大节日进行了比较,同学们不难发现它们之间的异同点,培养了学生的跨文化交际的能力,并为他们今后在真实情景下得体地运用语言打下良好基础。
在情感因素方面,我通过让同学们比较中西节日的相同之处来让他们体会家庭成员之间,乃至到人与人之间互相关爱的重要性,同时通过重大节日中团圆这一传统让其体会亲情的重要性。

引导学生对中外节日进行异同点的比较分析,从而培养其跨文化交际能力。
通过Pair
work和Group
work等形式的活动,培养学生合作学习的能力。
通过课前作业,培养学生上网查阅、阅读课外书籍、咨询家人等方式查找所需相关信息和写话的能力。
III.
情感目标:
创建宽松,民主,有趣的教学环境,结合多媒体,激发和保持学生学习英语的兴趣和建立学习的成就感与自信心。
引导学生在逐步完成各项教学任务的过程中,体会节日的乐趣并向其灌输文化意识。
树立学生关爱他人,学会分享,珍视亲情等优良品质。
