Learn from model essays.
Last math exam, I forgot to bring my ruler. I felt really worried because we needed it to draw graphs. I thought I might not finish the test smoothly without it. Just then, my deskmate Tom noticed my problem. He broke his new ruler in half and gave me one part. I was totally touched by his kindness. With his help, I finished the test well.
After that, I wanted to return his kindness. Tom was weak in math, so I spent my break time helping him with his math problems every day. I explained difficult exercises carefully, and he understood them better soon. We got much closer.
Small acts of kindness are like warm sunshine. They make our school life full of love. I will keep doing kind things and pass on this warmth to everyone around me.

Share your story with the class.
"Last week, I noticed my classmate Lily was feeling very down. She told me she was struggling with her math homework and was afraid of the upcoming test. I remembered the reading passage about helping others, so I decided to offer my support. I told her, 'Don't worry, we can work through this together.' We met every day after class, and I explained the difficult concepts to her using simple examples. I also shared my own notes and practice problems. Gradually, her confidence returned, and she started to understand the material better. In the end, she did well on the test. Seeing her smile made me realize how rewarding it is to help others. As the saying goes, 'Helping others is helping yourself.'"
