1.Both what we eat and how we eat are important!
both…and…为并列连词,通常连接两个相同性质的句子成分,其用法如下:
① “……和……都”,连接两个成分作主语,谓语用复数。
e.g. Both my sister and Hannah were pleased with the cat.
我姐姐和汉娜都很喜欢这只猫。
② “不但……而且……”起连接词作用,连接两个并列成分。
e.g. Andy both speaks and writes Chinese.
安迪不但会说中文,而且也会写中文。
③ “既……又……”。
连接的两个成分必须在形式、时态、词性等方面完全一致。
