Every week, a group of students from Cherry Creek High School come to help old people with anything about technology (科技) at an old people’s home.
When the holidays come, the group helps the old keep connected (联系) with loved ones. “A lot of old people don’t live close to their family, and it’s a really important thing. AI, or Artificial Intelligence, is a super cool and fast - changing technology. It’s all around us and making our lives different in many ways. AI means machines or computer systems that can do things just like we do, like learning, solving problems, and making decisions.
You probably know about voice - controlled helpers like Siri or Deep Seek. They use AI to understand what we say. When you ask them something, they look through a lot of information really fast to give you the best answer. In hospitals, AI is a big help. It can look at X-rays and MRIs. This helps doctors find diseases earlier and better. Sometimes, AI can see things in the pictures that doctors might miss.
AI is also great for businesses. Chatbots (聊天机器人), which are like little computer helpers, use AI. They can answer common questions, work out simple problems, and tell you about products all day and night. This makes customers (顾客) happy and means companies (工厂) don’t need so many people to answer the phones.
But AI isn’t perfect. One big worry is that it might take some people’s jobs. Since AI can do a lot of simple jobs, some workers might lose their jobs.
