In 2025, China’s love for football was woken up by the Jiangsu Football
City League. Fans call it the“Jiangsu Super League”, or “Su Chao” for
fun.
The 13 teams in the league are named after their cities. The players come
from all kinds of backgrounds—some are footballers, and others are
students, cooks, or people who work in offices. If you play well, you get
to play—it’s that simple.
The league lasts for seven months with 85 games. In the main part, each
team plays six games at home and six away. The top eight will then play for
the championship.

A Weekend to Remember
Last weekend, I had an extremely unforgettable experience helping out at the school basketball games with other members from the basketball
club. The exciting games were held at the sports center.
First, we arrived quite early to get everything ready, such as setting
up chairs and preparing water for both players and the audience. Second,
I guided people to their seats and helped with ticket checks during the
games. It was really busy, yet I felt so excited to be involved. Watching
the players work together well and play fairly was really amazing.
From this experience, I learned that many hands make light work—
offering help, no matter how small the task is, can make events run
much more successfully. In a word, even small tasks like showing people
where to go can help everyone enjoy themselves. I felt truly happy to help
and be part of such a lively school event.
