通过本课时的学习，学生能够 1. 在单元主题图的帮助下，通过模仿和跟读有关身体感受的核心词汇、听读韵律诗等活动，对单元主题形成初步感知。 2. 在看、听、读、说的活动中理解、梳理卡通故事中的情节，懂得爱护幼小，为他人提供帮助。 3. 通过分角色表演等活动，初步运用核心语言，学会用语言和行动传递关爱，培养同理心与责任感。 4. 以听、读、找、说的方式掌握字母o在hot等单词中的发音。
教学内容
教学重点： 1. 正确朗读Lead-in板块的韵律诗，并能说出有关身体感受的词汇。 2. 在活动中使用单元核心语言谈论博比照顾表弟汤姆的故事。 3. 在活动中用英语表达自身感受、询问他人感受、谈论自己如何关爱他人，用语言和行动传递关爱。 教学难点： 1. 学生能够掌握Cartoon time的故事内容，能够谈论博比如何照顾汤姆。 2. 学生能够联系自身，用语言和行动传递关爱，懂得爱护幼小，培养同理心与责任感。
教学过程
Step 1 Lead-in 1. Look and review: Chant the rhyme of Unit 2—Helping others. 2. Look and talk: What’s the matter 3. Let’s learn 学习新词汇: hungry, thirsty, ill, tired。 4. Let’s learn 学习韵律诗。
Step 2 Cartoon time 1. Pre-reading Read and think: Who is hot and thirsty 2. While-reading (1) Watch and answer: Does Tom want to have a rest (2) Let’s read and answer. (3) Let’s match: How are they What do they want to do (Task A) (4) Let’s talk (Task B) (5) Let’s answer: What would Bobby say 感知博比细心照顾表弟一天后的疲惫不堪，与汤姆玩耍一天后的兴致盎然、明天还想再次做客的期待形成对比，进行讨论：最后博比会怎么回答汤姆？ 3.
