Angel Falls
安赫尔瀑布位于委内瑞拉玻利瓦尔州圭亚那高原的卡罗尼河支流丘伦河上，是世界落差最大瀑布 。丘伦河水从平顶高原奥扬特普伊山直流而下而形成瀑布，分为两级，总落差979米，以离丘伦河谷地172米的分结晶岩平台为界，其上为长的一级，高达807米。

马里亚纳海沟全长2550千米，为弧形，平均宽70千米。据估计这条海沟已形成6000万年。其最深处的地方达6~11千米，是已知的海洋最深处。2020年11月10日8时12分，中国“奋斗者”号载人潜水器在马里亚纳海沟成功坐底，坐底深度10909米。
Dead Sea
死海是世界上最低的湖泊，也是地球上盐分居第三位的水体。截至2019年，死海表面积为605平方千米。 死海的湖岸是地球上已露出陆地的最低点，湖面海拔-430.5米。湖最深处380.29米，最深处湖床海拔-800.112米，有“世界的肚脐”之称。

珠穆朗玛峰简称珠峰，岩面高程8844.43米， 雪面高程8848.86米， 是喜马拉雅山脉中的主峰。由于亚欧板块和印度板块边缘的冲撞挤压，使喜马拉雅山地区猛烈抬升，据测算，平均每一万年大约升高20—30米，直至如今，喜马拉雅山区仍处在不断上升之中，每100年上升7厘米。

撒哈拉沙漠位于非洲大陆北部，是世界上最大的沙漠。它西起大西洋沿岸，向东经过埃及到达红海之滨，长5600千米，南北宽2000千米，总面积约932万平方千米，横跨北非诸多国家。其平均海拔300余米，主要由一条条平行排列的沙垄沙漠所组成。

尼罗河是一条流经非洲东部与北部的河流，与中非地区的刚果河以及西非地区的尼日尔河并列非洲最大的三个河流系统。全长6650千米，是世界上最长的河流，流域面积334.9万平方千米。 占据非洲大陆总面积超过1/9。河口区域年均流经的水量大约为810亿立方米。
