Class Olympics
Dear Wang Mei,
We had our class Olympics this week! Our class had five different events — jump rope, long jump, sit-ups, push-ups, and "ping-pong pass". Everyone competed in each event.
The events were fun! Kim won first place in the jump rope event. She jumped 178 times in one minute without stopping. Lisa won second place in the long jump. She jumped very far, but Kim jumped farther.
My favourite event was "ping-pong pass". Each student had to balance a ping-pong ball with chopsticks and move it from one basket to another without dropping it. We used a stopwatch to see who was the fastest. Guess what! I can use chopsticks very well. Tom did his best, but his ping-pong ball kept falling off his chopsticks.
What were the results I won the race! David was only two seconds slower than me. It's really enjoyable to do sports with friends! I like class Olympics. What about you
