A Happy Weekend Activity
Tidying up the closet is a common family activity on weekends in many homes, and we usually do it when seasons change. My family and I always tidy up our home closet together every spring and autumn, and now my sister and I are doing it with our dad in the bedroom. It is a fun thing to do, and we learn a lot about organizing our things from it.
We have a clear way to do the work. First, we all take out all the clothes from the big closet and put them on the bed. Then we divide the clothes into three small groups. The three small groups are the clothes we wear now, the clothes we put away, and the small clothes we don’t wear anymore. For spring, we keep light clothes like T-shirts, shorts and light jackets for daily wear. We hang the jackets and dresses up, and fold the T-shirts and shorts into drawers.
