一、本课的亮点
1.用身边的实例导入新课，贴近学生的现实，容易激发学生的兴趣。
通过校友参加志愿者活动的视频导入新课，为学生创设了情景，充分地激发了学生学习的兴趣和欲望，课堂气氛活跃，学生的感受也比较深刻。
创设情景，通过视频教学，重视学生的情感体验，通过学生活动引领教学。
通过观看流浪狗的视频，呼吁学生保护动物。通过观看志愿者的视频，让学生感受如何帮助别人，在帮助别人中收获快乐。通过游戏-Who’s the kindhearted?创设情景，激发学生乐于助人的品质。学生只有在亲身实践、体会和感悟中去学习，才能获得积极的情感体验，明白道理提高认识；才能使心灵受到震撼、情感受到触动、思想受到启发。本课通过创设丰富的教育情境，将情感、态度和价值观有机地融入到课堂教学中去，使其成为课堂教学内容的血与肉，成为教学过程的灵魂。
Make a poster环节是本课的拓展延伸，结合三月”雷锋月”及即将到来的运动会小组讨论写下你乐于助人的方式。从而将学生乐于助人，乐于奉献的情感态度价值观与学生的生活实际相联系。
3.巧用微课解决语法难点，利用学生课下反复学习。
针对infinitives动词不定式的用法这一语法难点，提前录制好微课，通过让学生观看微课的方式学习动词不定式的用法。由于这是本课时的难点，微课可以便于没理解这个知识点的学生在课下的复习。
在阅读中学习阅读技巧，提高学生的阅读能力。
在阅读教学中，通过阅读技巧Skimming等，提高学生的阅读能力。例如在本课时的教学中，首先通过skimming的阅读技巧，让学生match the meaning with its each paragraph.然后通过careful reading 的形式寻找specific information.
角色扮演再现文本材料。
通过角色扮演的方式有利于加深学生对文本材料的理解和消化。例如本课时通过对于students who volunteer这一短文学习之后，让学生进行role play，三人一组。创设情景-访谈节目。一人扮演interviewer,另外两人扮演Mario和Mary.
二、今后教学中应注意的问题
1.要注重对学生语音语调、语感的培养。虽然这是一堂阅读和语法课，但是在教学中仍不可忽视对学生语音语调和语感的培养。在讲授本课时中在读和角色扮演中对于学生的语音语调应该做出及时的评价。
2.在设置教学活动中要有及时的评价。及时的评价有利于检测活动的有效性。如本课时在role play之后可以针对学生的表现设定一定的评价量规，对学生活动进行及时的评价。
3.要关注所有的学生，尊重学生的个性差异。针对不同程度的学生设置不同的教学活动，使每一个学生都能在课堂上有所收获。
