教材分析:
本单元是鲁教版六年级下册 Unit 5 ,教材以How do you get to school?为中心话题,围绕”traffic way” 展开。主要是学习和运用某种交通工具去某地表达法的基础上,运用How/How long /How far 询问如何到达某地,描述“去某地的交通方式、时间、距离”。其教学内容与学生的实际生活密切相关,易于引发学生运用简单的英语进行交际和交流,这对于提高学生的综合能力,特别是说的能力很有帮助。
我所讲是本单元的第一课时Section A (1a-2d),主要学习和谈论交通方式及到达目的地所花费的时间,为激发学生对本单元的学习兴趣,以真实的生活情景,结合图片给学生以直观的印象,为学生提供语言材料,为更好的开展各项活动提供足够的语言材料。同时第一课时的学习以重点词语和句型为主,它将为接下来的课时开展更深入、全面的语言综合运用活动和知识拓展做好铺垫。也为学生今后生活用英语进行日常交通活动打下基础。
课后反思
本节课词汇较多,但由于词汇均涉及学生的生活实际,而且在课堂中,我采用图文并貌,突出真实性,同时,我在教学中采用了任务型教学,涉及了有层次和一定梯度且有启发性的问题,让他们在富有情趣的交际中愉快并主动地接受信息、加工信息、交流信息。而且和谐融洽的课堂氛围,有利于激发他们的学习兴趣,在有兴趣的前提下使他们的想象力得到了充分发挥,使的学生把学习变成自己主动、渴望的一种行为。因此本课的教学目标在愉悦的气氛中得到落实和巩固。
成功之处:
1 在课件制作方面,我精心制作,借助网络查询并下载了视频、图片等资料,插入音频文件做到了简洁,大方实用,并能吸引学生注意力和激发学生的兴趣。
2 学习策略:教学中注重了教学策略的引导。听力和读的方法。
3 游戏教学:在教学中,设置了游戏环节,让学生快速猜出图片人物使用的工具,激发学生回答问题的积极性,课堂气氛不至于太沉闷。
4 用一小视频Let’s have a trip 的形式让学生较快的进入上课状态,用带着问题的形式观看视频导入新课,有了个好的开端。
5 最后设计了一些flashcards 并配置音乐,以提升学生的情感。
不足之处:
1在做调查环节,学生也不是很明白调查要求,以致这一环节学生表现得不是很好,占用时间比较多,导致以后环节有些紧凑。下次要给学生汉语解释。让学生十分清楚指令要求。
2 教学机智方面:我在时间所剩不多的情况下教师及时调整教学策略。争取课堂在规定时间内完成教学任务。
3 电脑课件制作方面:需要进一步制作如何连环闪动图片的动漫效果。
4 板书方面:在平时的教学中注重提高自己的板书,可是在录课时因为自己较紧张再加时间原因,忽视板书。今后一定注意并改进。
教学设计
Step 1. Warming-up ?
The teacher asks students to enjoy a video and to pay attention to a question “How many transportations can you remember?”
The students answer the questions freely.( The teacher should give a praise.)
Step 2. Lead-in
Ask the students look and say to practice the sentence . How do you get to school?
I take /ride……
Ask the students to watch the picture in 1a, especially the means of transportation.
Ask the students to read the names.
Step 3 Presentation
1 Ask the students say the new sentence drills “How does she/he get to school? She/He takes the train to work.=She /He gets to work by train. And practice it in pairs.
2 Listening listen to 2a and learn to read numbers. Then word magic to practice the numbers.
3 Ask students to learn “look and say” to learn How long does it take……?
4 listen to 2a . Make sure the Ss know what to do. Ask the students to catch the key words when they are listening. Play the tape and check the answers.
Step4. Practice
1 Ask students to practice the drills like this:

2 Guessing Game: Speak it out quickly

3 Make a survey
