写在前面·来自课堂的真实观察
教了十几年毕业班，我发现连词是学生“会做但总做错”的重灾区。很多学生能读懂句子，但一到选连词就犹豫。问题出在哪里？我统计了上千份错题，发现三大“隐形杀手”：
① because和so不能连用，although和but不能连用——学生总是记不住，考场上顺手就写“because...so”。
② when和while的区分——学生只记得“when后可以接短暂动作，while后必须接延续动作”，但一到具体句子就蒙。
③ if引导的条件句和宾语从句时态——学生总把条件句的主将从现和宾语从句的时态呼应搞混。

考点一：并列连词（and, but, or, so, for）——基础必会
方法点拨
and：表示并列、顺承（“和，而且”）
but：表示转折（“但是”）
or：表示选择（“或者”）；在祈使句中表示“否则”
so：表示结果（“所以”）
for：表示原因（“因为”），语气较弱，常放在句中
易错警示：because和so不能同时出现在一个句子里，although和but也不能同时出现！

方法点拨
when：可接短暂动作或延续动作
while：必须接延续动作，常用进行时

易错警示：when和while的区别是学生最容易混淆的。记住口诀：“when后可长可短，while后必须长；进行时态配while，短暂动作when来帮。”
