Good morning, class! Today we’d like to introduce you to Huangguoshu Waterfall—the largest waterfall in China.
Located in Guizhou Province, Huangguoshu Waterfall is 101 metres wide and 77.8 metres high. The main waterfall alone is much wider than many small waterfalls nearby! Every second, roaring water rushes down—it’s like a huge white curtain falling from the sky.
What makes Huangguoshu Waterfall even more special is that you can walk right behind the waterfall through a natural cave. This gives travellers a much more exciting experience than watching from a distance. Huangguoshu Waterfall attracts millions of curious travellers each year.
If you want to experience the greatest power of nature, Huangguoshu Waterfall is the best place to visit! Thank you for listening!

2
1. How is life in the desert different from other places
where people live
Life in the desert is much harder. First of all, it is hard to find water, and people usually move from place to place. What’s more, the weather in the desert is very dry and hot. In other places, people usually have stable homes and enough water. The weather is better than that in the desert.
2. Would you like to visit the Sahara Desert or even live
there for a while Why or Why not
I would like to visit the Sahara Desert. Because I want to see its amazing landscapes, like sand seas and the rocky ground./I don’t want to live there. Because it’s too hot and difficult to find water.
3. What do you think will happen if the Sahara keeps
getting bigger What should we do about it
If the Sahara keeps getting bigger, I think more land will dry up, and people and animals there may lose their homes. We should take effective measures, such as reducing pollution, planting more trees, and saving water.(答案不唯一,仅供参考)
