Good habits are important in our life. They influence our health, study and even memory in many ways. Scientists say that people with clear daily plans usually have better memories than those who live in a mess.
Our brain needs regular rest and proper exercise to work well. If we keep doing the same thing at the same time every day, our brain will form a regular pattern. It can remember information faster and more easily. For example, going to bed early and getting up early helps the brain refresh. Drinking enough water and taking short breaks can also improve its performance.
However, bad habits bring trouble. Staying up late makes the brain tired. Playing with phones for too long stops it from storing new information. People often forget things quickly simply because their brains are too tired to work properly.
Scientists also suggest that reviewing knowledge in time is a useful habit. When we review notes right after class or before sleep, we tell the brain to keep them. The more often we review, the longer the information will stay.
In short, habits shape our brain. Developing healthy and regular habits is the key to keeping a good memory. It is not easy to form good habits, but once we keep them for long, they will help us a lot.

Nowadays, more and more students have eyesight problems. Poor eyesight can bring great trouble to our study and daily life. Luckily, there are many simple and useful ways to protect our eyes.
Firstly, we should keep a proper distance when reading or writing. Our eyes should be about 30 centimeters away from books. It’s not wise to read in strong sunlight or in weak light, because both can make eyes tired easily.
Secondly, we should relax our eyes after studying for long. It’s a good habit to look out at green trees or far places for several minutes every hour. Doing eye exercises twice a day also helps relax the eye muscles.
Thirdly, a healthy diet is necessary. Food like carrots and eggs is good for our eyes. They provide something important to keep our eyes healthy. Besides, enough sleep can make eyes rest well and avoid tiredness.
In a word, eyes are the windows of our heart. It’s our duty to form good habits and protect them from now on.
