In the middle of the cold, windy month of November, I often write a letter to Father Christmas telling him about all the presents we want.

On Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve, the whole family help to decorate the house, put up the Christmas tree and the decorations and blow up the balloons.
After getting everything ready, people often visit friends and relatives, sending presents and saying “Merry Christmas” to each other.
Christmas lights appears everywhere and makes the city colorful and brilliant.
On the night of Christmas Eve, all the families stay in the house, spending the silent night. Children often try to stay awake as long as possible to see Father Christmas’ coming.
Santa Claus was said to fly in a sleigh pulled by reindeers and leave toys and gifts for every child. He came down through the chimney silently and put them into the stockings which were put at the end of the bed by the children.
