在经济日益全球化的当今社会,能用外语进行交流是公民必备的技能之一。目前世界上除了以英语为官方语言的国家以外,还有很多非英语国家把英语列为主要外语语钟。积极推进外语教育将有利于促进本国公民参与国际经济贸易活动和文化交流活动。 高中英语教学现状
1.现行的课程设计不能体现时代对课程所提出的新要求,缺乏灵活性。

2.高中课程总体上还是过分注重对知识的系统讲解,过分强调记忆的功能和机械的训练,缺乏对学生语言运用能力的培养,对学生的情感需求和自主学习能力的培养关注不够。


3.教学中忽视对学生学习能力的培养,特别是对提取信息,分析信息的能力,分析问题和解决问题的能力关注不够。
4.高考外语科目的命题近年来也力图改革,从重语言知识转向重语言能力。
高中英语教学的方式与方法的根本改变
体现在:
从以教师为中心的教学方式向以学生为中心的教学方式转变;
从传授知识的教学方式向探究知识、发展能力的教学方式转变。高中英语教学的方式与方法具有以下特点:
多数课堂活动以学生为主体,而不是教师。
多数时间里,课堂不是教师讲解、学生倾听的过程,而是教师与学生之间、学生与学生之间的互动过程。
教师不是直截了当地把知识告诉学生,而是引导学生自己去发现知识。
学生不是机械地记忆知识,而是运用所学英语知识去做一些具体的事情。
学习不是整齐划一地按教师的要求去做同样的事情,而是根据自己的学习需要、按自己的学习方式实现学习目标。新课程提倡的教学方法与学习方式:
《纲要》指出,课程改革要“改变课程过于强调传授和接受知识的倾向,强调形成积极主动的学习态度,使获得基础知识与基本技能的过程同时成为学会学习和形成正确价值观的过程”
也就是说,教师的教学过程不应该是纯粹传授知识的过程,学生的学习也不应该是被动地吸收知识,而应该是积极主动地探究知识、发展能力的过程,是学会如何学习的过程。
《标准》指出,“在英语课程中,要鼓励学生在教师的指导下,通过体验、实践、参与、探究和合作等方式,发现语言的规律,逐步掌握语言知识和技能,不断调整情感态度,形成有效的学习策略和自主学习能力”。换句话说,英语学习的过程应该是学生在教师的指导下构建知识、发展技能、活跃思维、展现个性和拓展视野的过程。
《标准》倡导采用任务型语言教学等强调学习过程的语言教学途径,并设置了一些过程性目标如分析、反思、讨论、决策、解释、合作等方面的能力。所以它也是强调学习过程的。
本次课改除了要求教师改变教学过程和方法以外,还要使学生优化学习方式,力图改变教学中过于强调接受学习、死记硬背、机械训练的现状,倡导学生主动参与、乐于探究、勤于动手,培养学生收集和处理信息的能力、获得新知识的能力、分析和解决问题的能力以及交流与合作的能力。在英语教学过程中,使学生通过观察、体验、探究等积极主动的学习方法,充分发挥自己的学习潜能,形成有效的学习策略,提高自主学习的能力;要有利于学生学会运用多种媒体和信息资源,拓宽学习渠道,形成具有个性的学习方法和风格。 学生角色由听众、被动接受信息者转变为参与者、自我监控者和探险者
参与者---在任务型语言教学中,学生不是被动地接受知识,而要通过体验、交流、讨论、合作、探究等学习方式,发展听、说、读、写的综合语言技能。
自我监控者 ---- 在任务型语言教学的课堂上,学生不再只是被动地受到监控,而是必须为自己的行为负责,他们需要将学习过程与个人目标结合起来,并且能够为自己的学习过程负责,能够控制自己的学习过程,检查自己对知识的理解程度,主动积极地参与学习,成为自律的学习者。学生需要在完成各种各样的任务中,发现自己的长项与弱项,不断调整自己的学习方法,逐渐形成有效的学习策略。
探险者 ---- 在学习的过程中,学生需要有冒险精神。由于许多任务需要学生传递自己独特的信息,表达自己的思想,讨论自己感兴趣的问题,因此他们在独立完成任务时,难免会出现各种各样的语言错误。学生应该不怕犯错误,并且认识到犯错误在学习语言的过程中是不可避免的一个阶段。Independent learning(自主学习)

The functions of relative pronouns are that they introduce attributive clauses
and at the same time they act as elements in the attributive clauses.
(Try to read those sentences above and analyze them.)1.When the antecedent is about a thing, we usually use that or which.That or which usually acts as a subject or an object in the attributive clause. When that or which is used as an object, we can leave them out.
2. When the antecedent is about a person, we usually use that, who, whom and whose. That or who acts as a subject in the attributive clause , that or whom an object and whose an attribute. Whom and that can be omitted.
