A calculator is a new calculating machine which can be used to solve a large number of mathematical problems A huge computer is built to solve some mathematical problems.A PC is a personal computer which can solve all kinds of problems and is used widely now.A notebook computer is a kind of useful computer which can be taken conveniently like a notebook. Why do you think so? These machines can all calculate something. What’s more, from the abacus to the notebook computer, there was a long way. But now computers have already changed our lives greatly. They can be put into robots and make them useful and interesting. Step 2: Now let’s look at some photos of robots and talk about them.
What is a robot?
A robot is a program that runs automatically without human intervention. Typically, a robot is endowed with some artificial intelligence so that it can react to different situations it may encounter.
What is an industrial robot?
It is a tool that is used in the manufac-turing environment to increase productivity. Robots are used to do routine and tedious assembly line jobs, or hazardous jobs to the human in a variety of manufacturing tasks, such as welding, assembly and spray painting, and replacing the nuclear fuel rods in nuclear power plants etc.Step 3
Explain how the computer technology has been developing and complete the flow chart below. Then give a brief oral presentation on the development of computer technology with the help of the chart.
