单元整体说明一.分析教学内容,确定教学目标本单元围绕“野餐”这一话题,让学生学会运用“must may can ”等词进行推测。这个话题是学生与他们生活实际联系,是他们很感兴趣的话题。所以每位学生都会愿意参与讨论。Section A 以“推测谁是物品的主人以及作出推测的根据”这一话题来进行课堂教学和语言实践,为目标句型提供分步示例和指导性练习。(1a-1c)展示了重点词汇和目标语言,通过听说训练,让学生初步领会must表推测的含义和用法。(2a-grammar)在前面的基础上更明确了“must might could can ”等词的不同。同时附以练习,加以落实。(3-4)让学生通过阅读文章,推测词义的方式,让学生体会“学以致用”。 Section B 是在Section A的基础上,对话题的拓展和知识的延伸,使学生能够对已学过的目标句型运用自如。(1-2c)让学生发挥想象,运用推测的句型,讲述外星人追逐一个人的故事。(3a-4)阅读短文,谈论奇怪的幻想和噩梦,自如地运用推测的句型,寻求原因。Self Check 使学生对自己的英语水平有明确的认识,其中的谚语使学生受益非浅。单元总体教学目标为:通过本单元的学习让学生学会用不同的句型来进行推测。知识目标 掌握新词汇和运用情态动词进行推测能力目标 训练听说读写能力和推测能力情感目标 渗透保护环境,热爱大自然的情感教育。培养学生良好的合作意识,鼓励学生大胆表达自己的想法和意愿。二.学情分析,确定单元教学重难点初三的学生有较丰厚的语言积累和知识储备,他们有较强的求知欲和好奇心,在课堂上他们善于表现自我,乐于积极思考,敢于发表自己的观点,这些个性心理特点都有利于师生在课堂上进行交流。但农村中学,学生英语基础比较薄弱,考虑到所教学生的实际情况,故将单元教学重难点列为:重点词汇: picnic, chase, escape, belong to, toy car, plate’, mystery, appointment, worried, wake, neighbor, garbage重点句式: Whose volleyball is this It must be Carla’s. She loves volleyball.It could be Ted’s.难点语法: 掌握“must may might can could”的区别三.单元教学思路采用自主,合作和探究的学习策略,利用多媒体课件,来展开课堂Pairwork问答式的口语交际活动和讨论活动,来推测物品的归属和事情发生过程及原因。本单元的教学法建议:词汇教学:情景操练、反复使用;口语教学:师生互动,生生互动、对话练习、交际活动;阅读教学:推测新词义、事情发生的原因;语法教学:总结句型、比较异同、模仿操练。四.单元课时分配本单元细划分为5个课时(不包括self-check)。第一课时: Section A 1a-1c第二课时: Section A 2a-2c第三课时: Section A 3a-4第四课时: Section B 1a-2c第五课时: section B 3a-3b五.第一课时教案教学课题Unit 5 It must belong to Carlas. (Section A 1a, 1b, 1c )教学总目标Section A 主要围绕着“推测谁是物品的主人以及作出推测的根据”这一话题来进行课堂教学和语言实践。Section A(1a, 1b, 1c)中主要涉及到的语法项目是Whose-引导的特殊疑问句和情态动词表推测的用法,要求学生熟练模仿及操练该句型,为以后的谈论和交际做好铺垫。重点及其突出方法为:Whose-引导的特殊疑问句和情态动词must表推测的用法。总结规律、模仿操练。难点及其突破方法为:must情态动词表推测的用法培养良好的语言表达习惯。讲练结合,落到实处。教学具体目标1.知识目标:词汇 掌握belong to , plate, author, toy, picnic句型 学会使用 Whose notebook is this It must be Ning’s .It has her name on it.来表达推测及原因。语法 掌握must表推测的用法。2.能力目标:对所学知识的灵活运用及用所学知识解决生活中实际问题的能力。3.情感目标:培养学生良好的合作意识,鼓励学生大胆表达自己的想法和意愿。教学准备1.多媒体: 多媒体,英语影音资料。2.收集一些实物如书,CD,足球,笔等教学过程Step One: Warming-up Chant “Whose Puppy is This ” (通过“Whose Puppy is This ”创设英语环境,营造英语氛围,激发学习兴趣,从而轻松导入新课,使学生尽快进入角色,全身心的投入到目的语环境中去,并充分调动学生的积极参与意识。)Step2 Per-task:1. Talk about a book.(采用实物书,很容易让学生理解单词author和belong to)2.Talk about some books.Different people have different books. Let students guess whose books they are. (操练belong to,引出must表推测的目标句型)3.Talk about another book T: Whose book is this A: It must be Lee’s because it has his name on it.(还是以书为话题。师生进一步讨论,出示推测根据。)2. Talk about others things in pairs.( toy bear football bag CD)(通过对其他事物的归属讨论的模仿操练,生生对话,加强学生对目标语言句型的理解。)Step 3: While-task1. Have a look .T:It is a fine day for us to eat in an open air. We can have a picnic outside.
