Step 1
First teach an English proverb “Where is a will, there is a way.”
Then introduce myself to the students. Let some students introduce themselves. At last, ask the Ss: ”Do you like apples?” “How often do you eat apples?”

Tell the Ss: this class we will learn Unit 4 How do you exercise? Section B

First, Let’s go over the dialogue of section A : “What do you usually do on weekends? How often do you --------?” Let some Ss practise the dialogue
Then practise : “How often does he/she/Jim ---------？Show some pictures, let the Ss practise.
Step4
Show some pictures (milk,vegetables,fruit),teach the new word:milk. Then ask the Ss:how often do you drink milk?(teach the new word: drink)./How often do you eat vegetables?/How often do you eat fruit? Let the Ss answer the questions. Then ask: Do you like them? Tell the Ss; they are good for our health.(teach the phrase: be good for).
Show some other pictures(chocolate, coffee, cola, potato chips, junk food), first teach the new words. Ask the Ss: Do you like chocolate? How often do you eat chocolate? Let the Ss answer the questions. Tell the students : you should eat less chocolate, because it’s bad for our health.(teach the phrase : be bad for).
Now let the Ss look at their books 1a, please match the words with the pictures. Check the answers with the students.
Then let two Ss read the dialogue of 1b. let the Ss make new dialogues with the pictures.

Show the form, let the Ss look at the form, tell the Ss: An interviewer asks Lily and Bill some questions. Please listen carefully and fill in the form.(look at the questions with the Ss. Teach phrase: how many. Give some examples).
Play the tape for the Ss, listen twice. Check the answers.
Let the Ss look at the form and answer the two questions of 2a “ Is Bill healthy? Is Lily healthy?”(explain “healthy”, N-----Adj, add”y”. for example: sunny, windy, cloudy-----)

教学反思：这节课没有新的语言点，主要是复习section a 所学的句型。同时本课有一部分主要是练习听力。通过上课的效果来看，对于句型How often do you exercise?学生们掌握的还可以，能够熟练的进行对话练习。但是对于听力有个别的题目，学生听的不是很清楚，问题回答的不正确。须进一步训练学生的听力。
