自96年英语高考单词拼写一栏改变题型以来,连续两年学生均反映此题难度较大。题型的变化带动了题量、分值和难度的增加。就97年高考试卷抽样分析来看此题中十小题有八题的通过率在
50%以下,其中79题(舒服)和81 题(实际)通过率均为13%。 一、失分原因分析
1、拼写基本功差
学生在练习中或考试中常拼错单词,甚至拼不出单词的情况出现。例:
They don’t have morden(现代化的) machines but they can still do it well.
“现代化的”应拼写成modern 2、全局观念差
学生经常在拼写过程中只注意词意而忽略了形式变化。例:
There are few passenger (乘客)in the bus.
在这个句子中passenger 需用复数,因前面谓语动词是are,而且名词前有few修饰。 3、分析判断差
学生由于对有些单词的使用不熟,而用错词、或不善于根据上下文判断该词形式。
例:97 NMET 76
I am pleased that he gladly receive / accept(接受)our invitation.
首先学生必须清楚accept与receive的区别,而gladly一词表明he是从内心愿
意接受our invitation,但更为重要的是确定使用一般过去时:accepted 4、熟练运用差
高考中的单词拼写词不仅包括书写本身,而且也包括该词在句中的正确语法形式,但学生还不能熟练运用各种语法规则来确保用词的正确率。 二、提高得分措施
1、熟练掌握、灵活运用
要求学生熟练掌握单词拼写及一般语法规则,并能灵活运用于各种情景之中.
2、全面考虑、仔细分析
要求学生在解词时一定要通读全句,然后根据此句情况仔细分析,最后确定正确的词的形式。 3、加强训练、不忘阅读
平时要进行一定量的针对性训练,但要真正提高解题能力还必须扩大阅读量,
以增强语感,从而能真正熟练运用语言,
三、解题方法:
1、通读全句,确定意思
通读全句,根据前后内容判断该词意思,确保所填单词在逻辑意义上与整个句子一致。 例:
1) Germany and France are E______ countries.
2) A good _______ makes a good ending.
3) Not all snakes are p_________ .
4) I like the d _______ of your furniture.keys:
1.European 2.beginning
3.poisonous 4.design2、根据成份,判断词性
根据所拼单词在句中作的成份判断其词性。
例:1) He is a writer of rich_______(想象).
2) The girl who kept shouting and crying was________(显然) mad.
3)The coat fit her p________,so she took it immediately.
4) Darwin based his ideas on _________(科学)experiment. 第一句中“想象”作介词of 的宾语,故需用名词imagination。
第二句“显然”修饰形容词mad,故需用副词obviously。
第三句所填单词修饰动词fit,故用副词perfectly。
第四句“科学”放在名词experiment之前,修饰名词,故需用形容词scientific。3、根据结构,确定形式
根据动词在句子结构中的功能判断该动词的形式。
例:1) Our teacher has________ (组织) a class trip to the Great Wall.
2) President Lincoln was m _____ in a theatre in 1865.
3) Old people even die from p_____ air.
4)The lady m _______the cloth was a tailor. 第一句是动词的现在完成词 has organized。
第二句是动词的被动语态 Was murdered。
第三句是过去分词修饰名词polluted.
第四句是现在分词measuring作定语修饰 the lady。 4、上下兼顾,判断单复数
通读全句,根据上下意思判断各词的单复数。
例1) We think that N________ are equal to whites.
2)The earth is one of the p________.
3) ________(电脑)can do all kinds of thing snow.
4)The teacher gave us some a_______ on how to learn English well. 第一句名词后用are,该词必定是复数 Negroes。
第二句前面有one of 结构,因此后面必须用复数planets。
第三句因名词前无贯词,而且该名词是可数名词,故名词该用复数:computers。
第四句 adrive 为不可数名词,故不可加S。 5、全面考虑,不忘大小写
例:
1)________(秋天)comes after summer.
2) Some American children posted some _________(圣诞)cards to us.
