形容词比较级、最高级的用法汇总
熟练掌握形容词比较等级的构成和good, well, many, much 等不规则变化。
熟练运用所学句型表示两者和三者或三者以上人或事物的比较
初步掌握用much, a little等副词修饰比较等级的用法
除了最基本的形式之外，形容词的原级，比较级与最高级还以其它一些特别形式存在，这往往就是容易设题的地方，同学们一定要重点掌握:
1)同级别的比较
在程度，性质，特征等某方面相等时，用“ as 十原级形容词或副词十 as”的结构；表示双方不相等时，用“ not so (as)十原级形容词或副词十 as”的结构；表示一方是另一方的若干倍时，用“倍数十 as十原级形容词或副词十 as”的结构．例如：
Xiao Wang is as tall as Xiao Liu．
This building looks not so (as) high as that one．
Ms．Sun speaks English as well as you．
This room is three times as large as that one 这个房间是那个房间的三倍大。
　This river is twice as long as that one. 这条河的长度是那条河的两倍
2) 常见比较级五句型
1> Who / Which + be +比较级 , A or B
Who is taller, Tom or John
Which is more expensive, a bicycle or a computer
2> much / a lot/a little / even / far + 比较级
注意：（有这几个词在形容词前，一定记得要使用比较级。这是一种标志。）
A compute is much more expensive than a bicycle. 计算机比自行车贵多了。
3>~the+形容词比较级..., the+形容词比较级...", 表示 " 越... 就越..."。
The more you study, the more you know. 你学的越多, 就知道的越多。
The more you eat ,the healthier you will be.你吃得越多，就长得越胖。
4>~ 形容词比较级 + and + 形容词比较级 ", 表示 " 越来越... "。或是“more and more +形容词原级
The computer is cheaper and cheaper. 计算机越来越便宜。
I think math is getting more and more difficult.我觉得数学变得越来越难了。
5>~ + the 比较级 + of the two. (两个之中比较…的那一个，~包含在两个之中)
Tom is the taller of the two. = Tom is taller than the other boy.
一般比较级前不加the,只有最高级前才加the.只有这种情况是特殊。
3)最高级
①三者或三者以上相比，表示最高程度时，用“ the十最高级”的结构表示．这种句式一般常有表示比较范围的介词短语．例如：Tina is the hardest student in our class.
②最高级可被序数词以及 by far，nearly，almost，等词语所修饰. 例如：
How much is the second most expensive hat in your store 你店里第二贵的帽子多少钱？
This hat is by far／nearly／almost the biggest．
1> Who / Which + be +最高级, A, B, or C 　
Who is the tallest, Tom, Jack, or David Tom, Jack与David三个人中谁最高？
Which is the most expensive, a bicycle, a motorcycle, or a car 自行车，摩托车和汽车，哪一个最贵？
2> ~ + be + one of the +最高级 +可数名词的复数形式, 表示"最……的……之一"。
The Yellow River is one of the longest rivers in China. 黄河是中国最长的河流之一
Mozart is one of the most famous musicians in the world.莫扎特是世界上最有名的音乐家之一。
Miss Lin is one of the most popular teachers in our school.林老师是我们学校最受欢迎的老师之一。
3> "…+ be +the + 序数词 +最高级 +单数名词 + 范围", 表示"……是…….的第几……"。
She is the second tallest student in our class. 她是我们班第二高的学生。
India is the fourth biggest country in the world.印度是世界上第四大国。
注意：（容易犯错的地方）
1）要避免重复使用比较级。　　　　　　　　　　　　　2）要避免将主语含在比较对象中。
　　 (错) He is more cleverer than his brother.　　　　　　(错) China is larger that any country in Asia.
　　 (对) He is more clever than his brother. 　　　　中国比亚洲任何的国家都大。（中国本身也属于亚洲国家之一）
　　 (对) He is clever than his brother　　　　　　　　　 (对) China is larger than any other countries in Asia.
　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　中国比亚洲的其他任何国家都大（把中国自己排除在比较对象之外）
３）要注意对应句型，遵循前后一致的原则　It is easier to make a plan than to carry it out.制定计划比实行计划容易。
　　I think taking the train is more comfortable than taking the bus. 我觉得坐火车比坐汽车舒服。
